How much of the tier aspect do you think people know about from other so that they can strategize?

I suppose at max the same amount they know about professions.

Depends on what organizations and factions someone is part off. An adventurers guild would likely know many of the common, uncommon and rare tier upgrades from members tiering up in the past. Similarly factions like the wood sprites of the HT likely share such knowledge, at least with those close to a tier up, so that they can prepare.

Trust me. Those who are about to reach Teir 2 .. they will know. a lot I bet. not like Richto, nothing.
There are books, legends, myths, stories.. of the great heraclies the tier 3 beast form Greece etc..
Mage guilds and Old families especially will have records of such occurrences.

Due to the magical nature of the testing/evolution there could be magic preventing those who have gone through to speak of it. But then again the auditor did say that most prepare extensively.

You could not speak about it but you could order the one who want to go there to be tortured in your personal prison for a week or so. To "prepare" him without saying anything about the trail. even a guy who will do the praparing might be instructed to make sure the unit understands pain and learns to "deal" with it.

I know it’s probably been discussed before but what do y’all think the Psy Crystals would do to boost his body? I know the original prompts stated additional uses could be discovered.

Psionic abilities or resistances? Tough to say, I'd want it to be worth it but I feel like it'd be kind of a cheat to get the same benefits as the tier 2 telepathy ascension path.

find a way to make this possible.

    I'd go with a potion.
A potion to enhance ones SOUL!

How about Soul magic. Exercising ones soul in order to increase soul energy.

In the Harry Dresden series he learns how to use soul fire. It’s an Angelic form of magic where your soul powers the magic. In that series it was said that you could use your soul all up if used too much or if you placed too much into a spell. With rest your soul grows back exercise could make it bigger as well. I find it very close to the Asian Ch’i.

Absorb a Hundred Body Points will trigger an automatic change? Does that mean that there might also be a 100 Mind and a 100 Soul Counter as well, or will it all be added to the one Counter? I was think just one Counter for all three but now I'm not as sure as I was, still think it's more likely but ???

Maybe the Flux Quest will automatically end at 100 Body Points but you maybe able to get Mind&Soul Points that Don't Count towards the automatic Quest end?
If so then he could get a 100 Body Points and any number between 0-100 Mind and Soul Points?

I think that we will see it after Richter and Alma reunite, although it might take them using the Messeji again to upgrade the Mark.

I am wondering if there are any Tier 2 Beasts in his Dungeon, if there are then that might be away for him to get Flux Points. And if there aren't then he could add Blood and Body parts of the Tier 2 creatures he's killing to the Dungeon forgotten spawn for him to kill and Absorb. Plus there are probably plenty of easy to find Tier 2+ creatures in the Labyrinth.

Wonder if he killed and Absorbs a Tier 2+ Vampire I wonder if he could gain the ability to use Blood to Heal and Strengthen himself, basically become something like a Dhampyr.

Also I wonder if Richter could Absorb those silk like remains that the Pixies hatched out off that Randy picked up?

It said in Bk8 that the Ravager (V)Wurms were a Tier 2 creature, the Evolved version of Raider (V)Wurms, Raided Wurms are a Tier 1 creature, so it's highly likely that for Beasts and Monsters that Evolving is how they Ascend Tiers. Which would mean that Alma has know become a Tier 2 creature, a Dragonet.

We have quotes on creatures still being tier 1 after evolving.

Evolution is how monsters tier up, but its also how they rank up within the same tier.

I don't think Alma is tier 2 yet, I think it was a big step forward but not a tier up. Could be wrong though.

Not that I recall. They were all in the same tiers unless it was the mauler but I doubt it

I think that one did Tier up in Bk8 after Richter Ascended to bring a Chaos Lord, but I think that it said that it would be a rare occurrence. Think it was the Albino something or other when he was fighting the Slime but I could be wrong??? Will reread to check.

Do y’all think it’ll become a sort of cultivation books like god’s eye sort of is? Will he train his physical side like in a cultivation story or just get stronger by leveling and tier-ing up?

Wow, there is life in here :) . Welcome back.

Richter has kinda blown it on the training part, being a little too high level to really benefit. It seems like lower stats are easier to raise through exertion. I really think there is a lot of potential in holding your level low and just going nuts on the training and learning. Huge advantage if you are born into a reasonably well-off family where the kids don't have to work and they can be sent off to a school.

Or another noble, very common historically to lower nobility such as knights to send their sons off to train with other knights that will be much harder on them because they don't love them. Such training started very early. In the land where magical healing can likely negate damage from training, I could see some people going very far down that rabbit hole.

People like the sprite general - I forget his name, but half human, half sprite - may well have stats in excess of what we would imagine because they have been training so hard.

It strikes me, that would be an interesting way for a tier system to work with titles given for Trained(earned 25% extra stats), Well trained(earned 50% extra stats), veteran(100%), elite(250%), giving people at least an idea that they are facing someone a lot more powerful than their level indicates. Such titles could also have other benefits, such as slightly boosting the effects of stats, giving them an incitament to keep their status.

Good thinking, especially on the having someone else train ‘em bit. Maybe do skills stuff and general athleticism before sending ‘em off to really train.
