    @ShoughtLoud
406+141-72=475 days in a year from that method.

Well in book 7 there was a part where the dungeon points were laid out
    170 earned ( 51 x 3 = 153 + 17 for the master node )
175 daily generated ( at the time the dungeon was level three and 175/170 is 3% so the dungeon bonus is applied to the base here )
    245 Total generated ( 10% from Roswan + 30% for village spec 175 *1.4 = 245 )
So it's partially additive and partially multiplicative based on that portion which is how I calculated my numbers.

    So now with 2 more powers unlocked I have 51x5 +17 = 272
    Dungeon lvl 14 so 14% gain 272 *1.14 = 310.08
    and 310.08 * 1.6(50% for village spec now with the 10% from R) = 496.128

If there's a god node base point bonus, and a % bonus then that'll push those #'s up.

I didn't put the tenet 10% in because it wasn't active *yet* and I'm not sure if it'd be added to the 1.6 or the 1.14 or if it'd be a 10% bonus applied after the fact. Assuming it'll just be added to the village spec and DM bonus 310.08 *1.7 = 527/day. But....well who knows where that 10% will get slotted in lol.

Good info on # of days, didn't make that connection before. So 475 * 496 would be 235,600 base points generated each year....compared to the "i hope it generates 15-20" well I'd say the dungeon is plenty healthy, and a floor of lvl 30's type monsters should go a long way towards handling anything the labyrinth throws their way.

Slightly off topic but remember when it said that upon reaching level 10 the labyrinth shop would be open? Dungeon point currency, trading energy to the lab for dungeon perks right? Could be a source of rooms or room designs or room upgrades? If they could funnel points into a second call to the dungeon to have a one day huge town defense against a besieging army that'd be a game changer that'd more freely allow Richter to explore the surrounding areas without worry about goblins or kobolds or bugbears attempting to siege the village.

    Gdamnit Aleron.
    475/14=33.9286
No one rounds that down to 33.5

Looks like we have another case of "Well Aleron? Which is it? The argumentative among us need to know."

True my placement of Tenet bonus is somewhat of a guess, but I think it likely to be additive to the dungeon keeper and spec bonuses, as that makes the most sense. Even without the tenet I come up with 492.

For the purposes of salary calculation - which is where we get the info - there are 33.5 fortnights in a year. Which is equal to there being 67 weeks in a year, which is probably what Randy is converting.

Right I getcha... BUT IT BOTHERS ME
Randy constantly corrects Richter's money calcs to include coppers and iron bits, then he just generalizes the days of the year? If it's 475 there's 33.9 fortnights or 67.8 weeks. Which isn't much but significant enough to change wage determinations.
Unless chaos years where the total days in the year are in Flux. That could be interesting.

The 406 days remaining could always another book 7 error. Well I suppose both could be book 7 errors.

The biggest difference between us is if the master node gets the bonus's or not. Since the descriptors said from any source for the bonus I applied it in. I could easily be wrong but RPGs I've played tend to round down and not round up for fractions so while your number of 174.6 might be rounded up with normal math to 175 the 244.43 would then be rounded down to 244 but it was shown as 245 and applying the bonus to the master nodes yields 175.1 and 245.14 respectively which would round down to 175 and 245.

As mentioned in the other posts there's plenty of errors in the books and I haven't even touched on that thread to add in the errors I saw which I don't believe were mentioned already. So like I said the logic I applied to my calculations could be wrong. Regardless if either, or neither, of us are correct that's still a buttload of base points generated for the dungeon to use until we see something else to sink them into.

I agree. You know I had advocated for that as well for sometime. The cleaning and processing pit should be moved or added to the dungeon. They should have a dungeon slaughter house. Johan might have originated the idea of plumbing all waste to the dungeon as well.

Well do you pay 1.9 weeks salary, somehow getting your hands on a ton of cobbers and iron bits, or do you wait? The villagers probably do not get paid before said forthnight ends in the new year. So in reality there would be 33 forthnights that need to be paid out this year and 34 next year. Its going to fluctuate between there being 33 and 34 paydays in a given year. 33.5 fortnights in the calendar year.

Easy to work with and good enough for an estimate.

    Also constantly corrects?

Great ideas on latrines and the refuse pit, probabaly we can build a slaughter room to suck all the blood too!

Still about blood sacrifice we could move this to disagreement part of the forum.
Main ideas pros vs cons in regard to bugbear attack and possible/probable loss of life and new exit entry point appearing at some point during a critical battle.. which can transport a strike squad or 5 hehe

As for question on how to level up the dungeon to get an Adventurer bonus, During first week. This is a realistical possibility haven't heard one that could have been done at that time except the Beast attraction scroll but the Randy should have done that. Cause Richto is stuck underground..
Now weather the sacked blood will help reach lvl 15? Without testing it cant be known.
But if it would f.e. allow us to lose even a single life less.. would you not do it?
what if its 10 lives? 100?.. we will know for sure +- in 10th or 11th book.

Some round up regardless, (0.1-> 1)

Mind dropping your equation for me? Just like to see it written out

Actually slaughtering say 30% of village animals in the dungeon could be done inthe barbicon and just bringing out the meat for curing/cooking should net a big amount of DPs..

    No problem
    ( (BaseGen *(1+NumPowersActive) + MasterNode) * (1+DungeonBonus%) ) * (1+DungeonMasterBonus% + VillageSpec% )

    ( (51 * (1+4) +17) * (1+ 0.14) ) * (1+0.1+0.5)
    ( (255+17) *1.14 ) * (1.6)
    ( 272*1.14 ) * 1.6 which is how I came up with 496.128

My only logic on not rounding up in this instance is that if you had no mana and a mana regen of 6.6/minute and need to cast a 20 mana spell you'd need to wait longer than 3 minutes ( 19.8 mana regened) before you could put the mana/energy in that was required so gaining/spending partial DPs as a full DP doesn't make sense to me. Just my opinion though I could easily be wrong.

Nice work! Definitely looks solid, and a bit cleaner to boot haha. Funny how mine came out so close, definitely thought I had it.

As far as rounding goes I guess I was operating from when Richter's stats were treated as the next effective point when he has fractions from his percent bonuses. Suppose that doesn't make sense for spend-able resources though

Gonna add yours to my Calc for if people want to mess with crazy numbers, the green values are index matched to the next tab for ease of use

    ok what does this change?
400 dps/d or 500 dps/d kinda means little we still need like 14k point which is ~1mo too long until war. Randy stated we need to lvl dungeon up asap.

So we're actually on the same page - + around 6-7 points.
He (/she) didn't include the tenet bonus in their calc while I did, so keeping that in mind it was 497~vs like 492. They were the only one to actually bring something new to the calculation table (like I hoped) and seems to have righted what I was missing.

It might not be what the rest of you wanted, but @Anthav has brought exactly what I've been waiting for when I made my dungeon calc around a year ago
