All things in “Gods Eye” in relation to “The Land”

As Remy becomes a deity in Gods Eye he is blessed by the Lords of Chaos similarly to Ricther.

Ricther loved his Uncle Remy and always looked up to him. Even though the Lords has severed his feelings with the old world he has still recalled his Uncle. My prediction is that Ricther will strengthen his Uncles Deity status un whittling. Ricther has already expressed his love for the Lords of Chaos as well. I believe it’s only a matter of time before the Chaos Seeds found their own faiths in the Lords of Chaos and lessor Chaotic Deities. Ricthers chapel will become a house of worship for a new pantheon.

Will the Lords of Choas include any of the previous gods of the Land?

If so which gods could possibly survive in a new pantheon of chaos?

 

Remy is Richter's (James') Uncle?

Have just gotten the Book now, will be reading it once I wake up.

 

On Reading the Gods Eye Book I noticed something that I didn't in the Pre-Release Teaser Chapters, that is when Remy was Reminiscing about his Nephew James(/Richter) that his he was on of the first to victims of The Land Effect, that I remember but what I don't is where it then said how he(/James) had slipped into a Coma! Now either I missed that or it was added later?

 

He might had left it out on purpose.

 

Looks like a Primary Domain of Remy might be Luck (would follow well with his Creature of Chaos nature and his Sponsors being the Chaos Lords), at least at the moment, since all of his Followers get a Luck Increase as standard, plus a Buff after Praying to him. Although his Soul Art might also be Primary as well?

I'm also starting to wonder if a Connection to the Labyrinth in some way might not be a big prerequisite for the Screens appearance for people, or at least for those worlds that aren't naturally Very high in Mana?

 

I am not getting the feeling that attributes are going to have anything to do with his power. Right now he seems to have a soul domain, and likely and earth one in the next book. I am curious what an ogre bloodline will look like.

i have to say that, if i ever thought that richter’s life and choices were harsh and brutal. Remy’s put them to shame, and he isn’t even responsible for most of them yet. Right now he is just using the tool he was given, not much ‘choosing’ going on yet.

I think its far more likely that the pantheon will consist of a broad spectrum of good and neutral gods that can cater to the various races than that they will be determined by their placement on the order/chaos spectrum. Sprites, elves and especially dwarves would have very, very low resonance with any chaotic god. Kindir would probably thrive under the guidance of a chaotic god as would chaos seeds.

IMHO a diverse village is going to need a diverse cast of gods, not a group of good and neutral chaos gods that most of the potential worshippers feel no natural connection to.

A dark (not quite evil but close) god that can cater to spies, assasins, thieves, robbers and rogues would also be in the best interest of the village. Better a god that is part of the pantheon than that they seek to find a god outside the pantheon who might be inclined to use them against Richter.


Said god could get the Dark Alter at the abandoned chapel, assuming they can find a new core to power it.

 

My thinking is that originally they had basically had two choices.

Good/Lawful Good Neutral Evil/lawful Evil

With Ricther releasing chaos into the Land these new options were created.

Chaotic Good Chaotic/Chaotic Neutral Chaotic Evil

Ricther does have a diverse group of villagers. Those people of the Land will likely keep to what the trust. Eventually some might become chaotic. Although if they have already become Lawful they might not ever change.

Nearly all of the Chaos Seeds that have been introduced into the Land will go Chaotic good or chaotic evil. Of which all of those are gravitating towards Ricthers Mist Village. They will certainly be looking for something that fits them no matter if it is a chaotic good or chaotic evil god. That is if they are looking for a god to worship.
