The games campaigns are fun enough to play through. The cinematic combat is enjoyable to watch for quite awhile. The PvP though is pretty meh. Balance between nations isn't great and there's not much depth to mechanics.
Thanks for sharing. I'm still waiting on AoE IV, but I bet it has another year or two. Meanwhile, I play the hell out of Zero-K!
Zero K looks fantastic. I'm surprised Ive never heard of it. Maybe surprise is the wrong word though since they seem to only use word of mouth advertising.
Yeah, it's been around forever. It's the spiritual successor to Total Annihilation and built on Spring platform. Best of all, it's free on Steam. With many years of dev (by players), it's super-balanced too.
