Book 9 Release Date

As per Aleron’s Facebook stream today he is pushing back his ETA for book 9 from March till May/June.

If we get book 9 before the end of the year. Specifically the holidays I’ll be shocked. I’m calling it now. He’s going to say he wants the book and audio to come out at the same time and has to wait for Nick to have time to record.

 

Naw he wants to double dip on consumers. He wants to sell you the book, then wait a couple months and sell you the audiobook after.

I'll be honest when aleron said he was gona release it in march I wasn't really putting much faith in his words. For me its kinda like I'll believe his release date when I see the book in the kindle store. Until than who knows when it will be released.

 

I didn’t have my hopes up too much but it definitely would have been nice to have happen. Hasn’t he had more time to write with no conventions going on? I assume he’s the same amount of busy as a doctor. And that he’s had periods of quarantine to really get after the writing.

 

Probably under a fair bit of stress due to being trapped inside for nearly a year, making it hard to get the creative juices flowing. To be honest i'm not so sure the conventions took quite as much of his time as it might seem from an outsiders perspective. Not saying he isn't spending to much time blowing his own horn - you have fans for that Aleron - just that writing is difficult and writing book 8 in a complex series is a lot more difficult than writing book 1 in a new universe.

Now give me that book!!

Aleron is leaning on using "Mayhem" as he Title for Bk9 .

 

AK’s Facebook post today claimed mid-June as his new target. So give it a few weeks before he pushes that till August ‍♂️.

While waiting till June 2023 for AK to release something, there's a new Good Guys book out today and a new Completionist coming March 30th
