His didn't need to push back the date. March 2022 is still a long ways off. But at least he is proactive.

 

No he did not need to push it back, and yes it is proactive but this is just what Aleron does. Can anyone remember a delivery date he stuck too?

Sure, the one he proclaimed where book 8 actually came out. Aleron hasn't given us a hard date for releases in a long time as he doesn't want to tie himself to it. In fairness, he has only given us goalposts for when he will try to have it out, rather than something specific. Saying it will definitely be out by June isn't vague, so lets see if Aleron keeps his promise this time.

this is as bad as waiting for the new seasons of GOT to come out was. By the time the next book comes out, ive already forgotten where the story left off. Ughh.‍♂️ This is why i should stick to reading only completed series.

 

Ok, whatever, today I started relistening from the beginning. Being super optimistic and sh*t

 

I'm just hoping we get it by July the latest. Especially since I would like it before the holidays start.

 

He just announced in a Facebook video that Book 9: Mayhem will NOT be ready for a June release.

I know that all of you are utterly shocked

 

I feel the need to send him an email, with something in the line of.. "you could have just shoved the litch into the bag of holding while he was stunned"

 

O Yes! I am shocked, ABSOULUTELY SHOCKED. With a pikachu face. 0.o

 

Did he say what the problem was? Couldn't figure out where to cut the book short? Or maybe he keeps writing more and more and it gets bigger and better. Or... He is correcting the inconsistency of previous books so the errors do not propagate into this next and future books.

 

I’m like a cow in how udderly I’m shocked.

 

I have a couple vacations lined up in July, at this point my only hope is that I'm able to read the book on at least one of the flights. But my gut is telling me September

I think it’s a bad sign that no chapters have been released on his patreon yet. He usually does that a month or so beforehand, right?

 

We’re into June, now. Any updates from him beyond maybe July? I’m assuming it’s going to be much later because he’s only on episode 2 of his webcomic with still no chapters out.
