Book 9 Release Date

I believe it was technical was? A doctor, or at least non-practicing.

 

I don’t know the details but I think someone said he’d stepped back from actively practicing medicine.

 

In his Amazon bio video that came out before book 8, he said that he WAS a doctor and now writes full time.

 

I totally agree and I am very proud for him. I’m not jealous of anyone who makes themselves rich. I also hope that he understands the power of generational wealth. That way all of his heirs will do well.

I am bothered by being told I can expect to get my favorite cake. Then when time comes I get no cake. I know that seems petty but I really like the cake. Now if he tells me it’s taking a bit longer because he is making a bigger room better cake I’m all right with that. Even so I get disgusted waiting for that cake when I have been promised cake multiple times throughout the YEAR. So my expectations keep getting raised with all the excuses for the procrastinations. By the time it comes out I’ll be so eager, so hungry, and promised so much more that it won’t hold a light to any expectations.

 

You can probably pencil it in and say it’s taken him 2 years to write book 9. After the poor reception of book 8, book 9 better be his best book yet. Otherwise I think you’ll see the series nose dive in popularity. 2 years is ridiculous for these books.

 

Especially if it’s filled with fluff.

Race Orge

Orges normally live ABOVE GROUND IN SWAMPS. What are they doing underground?

 

That's a good question. As I've said elsewhere, I hope this wont be a racially pure city, I would prefer somewhere dark races mingle and trade. Somewhere unstable enough that a single tier 2 adventurer joining a faction can destabilize things further.

As for the ogres, they are usually big, dumb and treacherous. Someone could have hired them for muscle letting them build up numbers and influence, only to eventually end up on a plate.

 

Now I want Richter to team up with a pacifist ogre bard who tries to soothe his/her brethren with an acoustic mace made out of vibranium.

 

Would that be a female Orge bard with an acoustic mace made out of vibranium?

 

That's Swamp Ogre's, different Sub Types tend to live in different Terrains, the same as Sprites, although of course there are exceptions.

Surely an Acustic Vibranium Sonic Axe () would be better for are Bard? Or is the Mace a Heavy Malacc-come-Mace or maybe two Light Baton Maces that can be used as Drum Sticks?

 

I’m starting to think it won’t be out this summer. Or before January.

 

Oh yeah, the release, its been so long. Right, is there any real news whatsoever indicating the book might possibly come out in 2022?

 

Given that AK doesn't hold to statements about release dates is any news "real news" or is it all just fake news since it can't be trusted?

It’s been 2 years since book 8. Whatever is going on it has nothing to do with length. He’s either not happy with the quality or he’s doing other things. Either way I don’t see this ending well. He’s lost a ton of momentum on this series.
