Honestly just charm. Once he gets a mass charm spell he and alma can just go wild on the enemies. Not to mention the mass vitality puppet like with the bloodstone. Could have Alma attack and then off themselves to free him up to do other things
cheats for book 8 Richter was punished for killing the creature he called with life magic, what if he just instructed it to take it to its den or find its predator's lair? Also, why didn't Richter use Ice Dagger and melt it for water?
Not that I can point to any specific reference but at least in my head cannon the ice sublimates and doesn’t leave water. Again I might be totally off here but that is just the way I pictured it.
Actually, Aleron has given us the answer to this. You can do it, but the water disappears from your body after a certain point. It returns to being mana.
Indeed, plus as we've seen with the Cooking if the Scorpion with Magic Fire that Mana can have possible Health issues if Consumed due to Mana Toxicity. But a Spell that Condenses Water from the Moisture in the Air would probably be O.K.
Richter ate half-raw dayold meat from a giant scorpion that had been stored in a moisty, lukewarm environment. It was fit only for chickenfeed, they'd have liked picking out some maggots. Edit: Great, i'm no longer hungry XD
If those wurm spikes are double sided, so you can throw them like a shuriken. Then purchasing and adding Weak Honed Air, would be great. Even adding it to the spiked bone club would be a nice cheat. Usually people only dodge just enough (to not waist movement) and that extra 3" (maybe more in level II) increases the range just enough to cut the throat instead of missing. Even better on the short weapon, for his fighting technique so that the blade isn't reclassified as a long sword and will still get the sword techniques from the sprite fighting styles. I suspect this is the primary reason for that bit of text being included. edit: Spoiler: Weak Honed Air Congratulations! You have learned: Weak Honed Air. Creates an area of extremely compressed air around your weapon. Increases the lethal distance of your weapon by 3 inches. Enemies struck with this extended radius will not trigger enchantments in your weapon. This is a spell of Air Magic, level 1. Cost: 31 mana. Duration: 20 minutes. Range: self. Cast Time: 2 seconds. Cooldown: 18 minutes. Kong, Aleron. The Land: Predators: A LitRPG Saga (Chaos Seeds Book 7) . Tamori Publications, LLC. Kindle Edition. It could be that with the Activatable Enchantments talent, that even though only the week honed air hits, the enchantment will still hit too if activated.
Dodging "just enough" sounds good in theory and looks great in performances and tournaments In a real life situation you try to get far enough out of the way not to get hit plus some extra or you block. Wasting movement is a secondary consideration (especially in the land where people can have many times the endurance of an earth human and recover much faster), combat doesn't have to look pretty and it usually isn't.
Wonder if the Weak Honed Air effect is visible in some way, if it's not then it would be extra deadly in a fight.
okay, we will instead call it "barely missed" on Richters part, instead of a dodge on the enemy's part. so it changes from a barely missed strike, to connected strike. I am assuming it would be invisible, and I didn't even consider it to be visible. I suppose that if you have a good enough perception or pierce the vale, it could be seen.
No further comments needed, as those are two very different situations. Extending reach without needing to deal with a heavier blade and the physics of that is a great enhancement. Probably a little OP but as the air doesn't carry enchantments its balanced. You won't be doing full damage if you do hit, but it will hurt the opponent.
Weak Honed Air, would also be very useful with the technique whirlwind. A spinning attack striking enemies in all directions within 1 second. + 50% damage. with extra reach (that would include the +50% damage), is a perfect upgrade to it.
good idea, hopefully it can be absorbed by the golem. if it can absorb the water, then might want to try a fruit.
Like a water elemental golem? remember that the material it is made from does not matter as far as bonuses go. So it could be bad water or magic water, it should make no difference.
I would think that Making a Golem out of something like Necronium would make a difference, even without using a Death Core for it.
