Do you think Richter will find a way to chat with his village? I would think he’d find one. Then he can tell them to have the guy take over as diplomat to the kindir village, what to research next, what to build, etc.
It's definitely possible, we know of a scribe talent that allows it. If Richter builds a core library and boosts his scribing skill to get the profession, then buys the talent, one day he could use it to chat with Bartle or Bea (I can't remember which was going for it). other than that, the only other option would be the magical acorns that the sprites use. My thought though is that part of this saga of Richter being trapped away from the village is to illustrate how much his people have grown and how capable they are even without him. Mama may show up and help with that too, but I think the villagers will manage really well until he gets back.
Could be! Just bugs me that he wouldn’t be able to institute things he’d planned because they don’t know. Presumably.
