I hate to say this as many of you might be on the gnomes rule band wagon. I just do t see it. With two major gnomes types builder and tinkering gnomes why haven’t we seen anything of interest as of yet? If gnomes are really supposed to be the stuff I’m ready to see it.
We haven't seen any Tinker Gnomes yet, Builder and Arcane but not Tinker, they are probably a closer Relative to Kendir, which would probably help to explain any personality oddities they might have as a Race.
Gnomes rule? One day Aleron will complete the quest to find who is the little... racial supremacist lol. Then we will find out what the rule and why
He'll end up being a dwarf, kinder, or some other non-gnome race with the last name of "Knoams" and he's just doing The Land equivalent of "O'Doyle Rules!"
You know in D&D one of the abilities of haflings was the capability to stand so still they would become nearly invisible. I always liked that quality for stories attacks and thieves.
If I were to choose between Gnomes and haflings I would choose Haflings every time. Really, who doesn’t like to eat and drink?
Kindir aren't halflings They are a mostly unique dragonlance creation, created by the god of chaos, Kaos. Unlike other races they are not part of the great divine plan for Kryn, nor are dwarves and gnomes. Those races are not allowed to travel through time because they can change the course of events. That also means they are the only ones that can alter the fate of Kryn. In the end, its the kindir tasselhof who brings down the god of chaos when he attempts to unmake Kryn, destroying countless beings utterly in the the process. This eventually leads to the downfall of the godking of good and the godqueen of evil, leading to the age of mortals. Something the gods of Kryn had not planned for. Suddenly they went from unchallenged overlords with more or less unlimited power, to depending on their mortal worshipers. The more selfish gods were not pleased by this development, though a few of the good god diden't seem like they minded the shift in the balance of power between gods and mortals. Also, kindir have a racial ability that allows them to steal basically anything without being discovered. This ability has the perfect drawback, namely that the kindir doesn't consciously control when he steals. Ultimate ability, ultimate drawback. XD
hobbit race wars lol Well done @Dragon & @Mister Bill & @Captain BlackJack You have exceeded my wildest expectations, Magnificent.
Krynn Minataurs are also a Kaos Spawned Race as well, all hale the Minataur Hero, Kaz the Axe, friend of Huma.
Truth, i'd forgotten about the minotaurs. The noble and not so noble draconians are all banned from time travel as well.
True, but Draconians ability to effect Time Lines are usually much less due to the lack of the Chaos Fathers (one of the ancient creator overseer OverGods that created the D&D multiverse and oversee its Gods) Chaos Energy in their creation.
