OK, that game is waaaaaay to addictive. Reminds me of some ascii d&d game I've played. I mean that in the very best of ways.
Yeah, I started with the original Rogue (bought at Radio Shack!) back in the day. Then moved to NetHack. Hadn't played on in years, but DCSS has me hooked. Thinking of running a Halfling through tonight!

Killed by divine providence ... invoked by an orc priest (12 damage) ... on level 8 of the Dungeon. YASD! (Yet Another Stupid Death!) This character was doing well for a while. Had a great artefact sword that turned some of those killed with it into zombies. Decent armor too. Mine have not gotten very far at all. I'm still figuring things out, and I've always been bad at Rogue games. Trained on too many infinite life games as a young sprout.
