I understand that, but you're making the assumption that there are only a few Fae realms that have access to larger amounts of Elementum. I would think that since it is described as a Fae metal it will be found in most Fae realms. I also think people are forgetting something that Richter has been told multiple times which is that he has had good fortune rained down on him. Portals are not common in the Land he just lucked into finding a settlement that had a connection to the Tefonim and there is no reason that any portal they had to Fae was permanent or was permanently assigned to Fae. It could be something like a Stargate where it wasn't always opened and you had to program your destination everytime you opened it. If that were the case then just because the Portal might still exist doesn't mean he can get it to work, but considering the limitations on his Portal knowledge I doubt that a stable portal of any flavor to Fae will be found in MV. That being said there is always the possibility.

If the Fairy (Mushroom)Ring leaks out enough Fay Mana then that might help in time to reactivate the Fay Henge, which would mean he could end up with Two Portals to Two (or more depending on wether the Portals does it doesn't open to different Realms at different times?) Fay Realms within his Domain,

Futen should be asked a lot of questions. Maybe Ricther will get some question and answer time in one of the next books.

Interesting idea about the embodiment of Fey in Courts.. had to read your post a few time to understand what you meant. I can agree that these realms have similarities.

However they Fey realm should be a separate one, like the labyrinth. Or the Shadow Realm or The place from which Hisako has summoned the Angel.
Fey - Eberron: Root of All Evil
This seems like a very basic description of who fey are, I see the like mentioned above a combination of the courts just in this instance they might be a weaker version of them.
Another interesting point is about eating food the Fey give you
What is the origin of, "Never eat or drink anything a Greater Fey offers you?"

So Pretty much an alternative reality with every day citizen being like an Imp(weaker/stronger version of Xeutrix taht is) who tries to f*** you in every deal/gift/offer/action.. you could make and his kings are even more devious with powerful armies.
    Engage at you own peril.

Instead of being called the Fay Light and Dark Court in Alerons stories they might be called the Summer and Winter Courts, thats another name for them?

It depends on the fey race. Some of them just have an extremely alien view on the world. A few like brownies and nixies are good.

Most of them are evil fuckers. No one's gonna care if you slay a nightmare or some other monstrosity.

We can only wait to see how AK decides to write them in.

    If he ever will!

I was just trying to point out that irregardless of how it plays out in the books in mythology the Seelie Court is also known as the Light Court or as mentioned by Poke the Summer Court as well as the Sidhe. The Unseelie Court was known as the Dark Court or Winter Court as well as either he UnSidhe or possibly Dok Sidhe (this may be a bastardization by an author of Dark Sidhe and not an actual term that was used). So it seems that AK has taken basically the noble courts of Fae from our myths and turned them into the Light and Dark Courts of the Land while still including the Fae. I'm not saying that they are connected in any way as far as the books are concerned just that AK is using the same set of myths for to sets of peoples in the Land. Now it is up to him to decide how that is going to play out.

so we get like 800 fruits per year? and we give to the Dungeon our bread and butter, like what 2-4 fruits?! gotta calc here to get the max bonus from professionals, and then feed the rest to the dungeon.

The main source of celestial power is the quickening. It grows by strengthening others, so by sacrificing the fruits to the Dungeon you are taking away from its growth.

you are growing the Dungeon so.. its something.

Also I have some issues about the bugbear attack. Bugbears claim that they have heard the call to the dungeon, but MV is in the mists and those mists extend for 10 miles or 16km.. which is in a forest so 16 km is like a lot.
Also Bugbears probably are nowhere near the mists(due to the disappeared company etc..) So They have felt that a new dungeon was born right?
But they really have no clue is this a strong dungeon or a weak one.. what is the item of power or the creature... Bugbears might stumble in a way and find the Ancient Dungeon...

Kinda seems a bit strange that Bugbears move so strongly vs a possible bunny dungeon...??
So Adventurers don't feel a calling to just a simple dungeon that is Ancient... huh?

It basically sent up a giant flare miles into the sky in addition to a magical call every adventurer for x thousand miles could hear and hone in on. HM screamed for Richter to get to the pedestal and claim the Dungeon. She likely feared adventurers honing in on the mist, maybe even a band of tier 4 or 5 adventurer porting in to claim the portal for their guild.

I always thought that Hisako screamed because somebody else might "claim" the dungeon..
but even so say many of the adventurers were sleeping, others fighting in a dungeon.. sure they could see a general direction if lucky, but that did not last long..
This dungeon pull might be even a way for an adventurer to ignore the mists.. though even a group of 5 adventurers unless super skilled will not fare great in this Dungeon. Even Richter got some trouble while dungeon was still lvl 2 or 3.
Still would adventurer be pulled to a new dungeon vs an existing lvl 50 dungeon? rewards are very different. Probably an area effect. no more than 50 miles or so. land curves..

I do wonder if the adventurers form the bugbear camp will be able to hold back their need to for adventure vs precise army movements.

I think the pull of a new dungeon hinges more on the fact that since it's level 1 it can be destroyed super easy. Rewards will be better from a level 50 dungeon yeah, but the item of power being easy to grab because the dungeon has no other monsters yet could be quite enticing

your probably right on that. Did the adventurers get a notice that the Dungeon was claimed?
