Well the narrator got sick so he had to postpone monsters. There is a new narrator for the new series.
Geez thank the Lord or whomever that he made it through. Secondary: how bad would it be if we got the old narrator back for book 9. Very
Apparently he did not get Corona, but was down with another type of influenca. Of course, his test could be a false negative, so yeah good thing he survived. I do not know this old narrator?
Nick is great, glad he is doing better. Having two different narrators for two different series isn't bad. There is a wealth of talent out there these days.
Ah yes Guy Williams was the first Narrator for this series. It was pretty good, but maybe made the MC sound a bit too...not black? Maybe. I know I didn't really think about the skin color of the MC until Aleron made an effort to specifically mention his blackness in the later books. Some refences I did find weird, because why would a blood orb that sees only in mono-sanguine be able to tell the skin color of the MC? It could also be that aleron felt the narrator just killed his book terms of sales. It would be interested to see the sales rate for the two narrators for the series. I remember him talking about it at one point, but it was a non-answer. Maybe he just really like The King Killer Chronicles, "I got to get that guy!", based on Krom alone, it is a good idea. Krom and Kvoth's crafting teacher sound very similar to me, which was my favorite sounding character in the King Killer Chronicles narration.
Using the weak kaotic spirit that is summoned from the scroll might be useful in a spirit necklace. As a Lord he should be less susceptible to it, maybe.
"You have found: Acidic Breath Trap" I don't recall this trap from before the audiobook 7 was released. I would have added this into the theory of what trap Richtær left for He-man. Though would have made the list. Need to make a poll for what trap Richtær put into He-mans cubby box.
Do anyone think that Richter will ever see that Tefonim queen again in the lower levers of the Dungeon? that Castle Building Skill would be very sweet.
Probably not for a long, long time if ever. Richter will have to build his own castles the oldfashioned way.
I doubt the queen will be seen again, but I'm sure there are things in the lower to lowest levels that are equally as beneficial. (high level skill books, lore, more metal reserves, blue prints, regimens for advanced training, etc)
Could you not make us salivate. This makes me ...think. Do you guys think they mined the elementum on the lower levels of the Mine?
I would have thought that the considering where the first encounter with the Eaters was that the Sprites would have sent a contingent to explorer the Second Floor shortly after sending one to check out the site of the first encounter. If so then the Second Floor might well have already have been cleared by them, or at least semi explored?
there were supposed to be teams out looking for them. It would be odd if they didn't try to go down the stairs.
I doubt they sent an expedition or that it would be successfull without the Master's presence. There are too many indications that the first level was a proving ground.
So you know how Technocrat needed Richtær to have the research skill. I always assumed it was an error, because book 7 was full of errors (like 3 books worth of error, because it was the size of three books). What if it isn't an error? What if Richtær somehow does have something that represents having the Research Skill? I suppose he could have obtained it because he ordered and built the house of scholarship (not the level 3 version, that was later). Maybe it was his unconventional materials book or after he obtained the tech from the Tefonim queen.
