Might depend on What type of Core Building he creates, if he does create a Core Library he might get a chance to choose to upgrade Research, or if he can create a Casters Tower possibly Spell Casting (probably the Four PoP Magics plus another depending on the Catalyst, but maybe with his Limitless Ability possibly also a slight boost to all types of Magic he knows as well, might be a good way to get Thought Magic by using a Psi Crystal or more Chaos Magic with a Chaos Spark?).
Not might it will depend on the type. Though a research boost would be a waste as Richter is not going to sit still.
The technocrat village specialization would give him the ability to supply all the research he could gernerate to the village everyday without actually spending the time doing it. If it allows passive leveling of the skill it could be really powerful.
I don’t think that richter will be taking the technocrat spec after the village. By the time he levels he will no doubt have other option available. Options the will be easier to level or more immediately important. He might get technocrat at level 3, by then MV will have the researchers to truly abuse the technocrat spec.
Yeah probably not, I just like to dream that a spec like that actually lines up with Richter's "play to the future playstyle" and seeing a more fleshed out version of the tech tree
At that point the lowertiered techs would all be gone though. With the increase in cost between tiers, its unlikely they will be able to research enough techs to really break the game. 10 techs is a lot.
While it does fit with richters ‘play style’ my expectation is that randy will manage him into getting another Useful specialization that will lvl fast, and wait on that one. Of course that largely depends on who is coming with mama and what they are bringing.
Not necessarily, mist village is limitless after all, there is also espionage to think about, as well as purchasing techmanuals. By village level 3 if he has patience he can accumulate techmanuals to inject into the village knowledge after leveling.
Its been implied they will see some pretty big tech windfalls from Randy once the prerequisite techs are known. That would likely include toplevel yvesian techs that Randy only knows due to being a former key member of the royal family and the yvesian government for generations. Those won't count for the specialisation either, not as the requirement has been phrased.
Hopefully they will get a master tinker gnome and a really good crafter. Clockwork items could be really useful to Ricther.
For timekeeping? A tinkerer to make gears for a water mill or some water powered machinery would be nice.
A professional tinker with a specialty in clockworks could do a lot. Instead of just a simple water wheel. How about a forced air intake for the forge Or some Automatic hammers. I really have my eye on some ball joints, gears, and magical actuators for an Optimus prime shogun mechanoid. Or a could I could go with the 1966 space giants Goldar equivalent.
I think it is very possible that Ricther will get some new techs from those in Mamas caravan. It really makes sense. I am sure she will have multiple professionals in the caravan. Those professionals skilled in techs that the Mist Village doesn’t have at the moment. As they integrate into the village they should be able to save the MV time. Those professionals will definitely provide knowledge that will no longer need to be researched. Ricther will need to have those professionals knowledge added to the tablets as soon as possible.
Accidentally having some techs sure, its possible. I'm sarcastically talking about Randy taking some "unknown techs" from Yves before moving to this settlement. Randy was the second most powerful person in Yves after the king.. He could have gotten like 99% of Yves tech before joining the caravan.. Maybe he just wasn't into that at that time lol..
