Good news Aleron has also said the next land book will hopefully be out before the end of the year. So around summer 2021.
That is a decent guess and would be fitting with the recent books. However if aleron decides to write 2 at once again it might be a bit longer.
It was Bartle or Bea. He and Roswan were able to do the level 1 building. I would suspect that Tamitu and Lezli combo should be able to build a lvl 1 library.
Level 1 researchers hut I assume? If so yes it would make sense that it would be an option, as long as they have a scholar involved.
What if Lezli has a whole binder full of blueprints, but nobody ever listens when she starts talking about her binders so they have all missed out on realizing it.
It occurred to to me that the xuetrex quest might not be so horrible to fail. It depends on if the xp loss is all he ever got or all his xp bar says he has. There is a massive difference between the two thanks to his specialty.
Richter would still lose his skill exp if this is the case. For him losing his skills is the bigger loss, its not an issue for Alma to powerlevel him. Its an open question whether losing his exp would also cost him his tier up and profession. If he keeps his tier up and profession, the increased stats could be worth the temporary loss of skill levels, and personal levels.
The only way I can see it being okay is if there is a prison period of like a week, maybe two (that can be glossed over in a paragraph or 3) where he keeps his tier upgrade and his skill levels. So level 1 chaos lord, same skill levels (loses out on the xp bonuses he would have already claimed but them's the breaks) and in a prison where he is generally safe from harm. Then Alma feeds him exp remotely and he levels up, without spending points until his escape. If so he's reduced to level 1 with 15s across the board and 18 in luck (not including his other various accumulated stat bonuses). With just that, he's the equivalent of a level 12 Tier 1 human (non chaos seed) total stat points-wise, (lvl 8 chaos seed) Each level would get him 3.75 normal human (2.5 chaos seed) worth of stats to distribute. By estimates there seems to be a 5x multiplier on the exp needed per tier 2 level vs tier 1 levels. Even with a 5 times (or even 10 times) multiplier on exp he should bust out levels 2-10 in like a week, maybe two, easy thanks to alma feeding crazy exp. By level 10 he's back to the baddest thing on wheels in any tier 1 setting, roughly equivalent to a normal tier 1 human of level of 45.75 ( or a level 30.5 chaos seed). With 135 stat points to distribute, plus his various stat multipliers I left out earlier (Quickening, Dungeon Mark, Dragon kin, goblin hold, honorable, vassal, impassioned) he's back in the game. Add on to that that any action from a tier 1 being is 20% reduced in effectiveness against him and his own actions are increased by 20%, he can make headway in almost any setting. All of this again on the assumption that he keeps his skill levels, expertise and tier 2 upgrade.
if it is only the accumulated xp listed on his character sheet his level is safe, but loss of skill would make it a nightmare. I forgot about the skill reset part.
Got curious as to the real stat totals if staying tier 2, reverting to level 1, and with all permanent stat mods in place. I think it works out to something like this: Level 1 Chaos Lord Richter Constitution 29 Intelligence 17 Endurance 15 Strength 27 Dexterity 15 Agility 15 Wisdom 15 Charisma 20 Luck 23 Total : 175 Equivalent T1 Human level 22.25 Equivalent T1 Human CS level 15 and 1/6th Kid slays
Yeah, but considering he is still level xx he must still have the exp. He has just used it as security to buy talent points.
Given the safety of the village Richter could be level 20 within a day. Alma would have given him 44,468 exp for killing the level 26 ankag, almost enough to get to level 10. Now imagine the hunters and sprites catching as many living beasts for her to braindrain as they can in order to restore the power of their lord as quickly as possible. Once he hits level 20 he would have the stats of old level 50 Richter, and he would still be getting one level per kill before it slows down a little.
Do you still have the money you spent on groceries? Roughly the same concept. The talent Point purchasing is not a normal talent.
If the exp is gone why does he keep the levels? For the purposes of this talent and similar the exp is "spent". Not so sure the quest is going to care about that, Richter might even need to reearn his exp debt as those are seperate systems. On the flip side he should get to keep his talent point
Are you taking into account that Tier 2 levels need almost 5 times as much xp to gain? 46 for a tier 1 was slated for somewhere on the order of 200,000 xp, but for tier 2 Richter it was around 1,000,000. If he drops down to level 1 but remains tier two, I doubt he's gonna be using the tier 1 leveling requirements.
