I am not sure when I got an "update" to book 4 Catacombs. There is no "News" section on his site. Are there any updates/Easter-eggs that I should look out for?
What specific magic items could richter have been wanting? Perhaps something from the video game? It seems that it wasn't something he has already seen.
Well I am telling the truth, that quote was what he wrote in book 4. The only real difference I can see are changes to Quest condition layouts (some errors added). If you read and listen to the audio on the kindle app at the same time, you can really pick out the changes since audio was last recorded. Whispersync is what is called.
Maybe not. There was only one change that I can think of for audio, but I can't remember where it was. Update: reading Richter's Stat sheet was removed.
If the spell knowledge was transferred to Richter’s mind, then he should have access to it as well once his blood/chaos magic skill level is high enough. I'm am assuming chaos magic as well because it augmented Richters Magik abilities, which could mean many things. Secondly it would be nice if there was a sentence about how the blood stone broke the HM place of power protection barriers. Otherwise how did Alma break free to land on Richter's shoulder? Probably already in the error sections. Might move it over there anyway.
When Richter was going all Red Death mode because the blood stone was controlling him, the HM was erecting triplicate shields (light earth and Life) around the allies which Alma was under, to prevent the blood stone from draining them as well. Alma then lands on his shoulder to help him with the teleport spell. I'm guessing it is just an error on Aleron's part. If we need to shoe horn it in as is though: a spell that powerful could come with some handy features like allowing allies to move through them /touch and leave them without dispersing the protection for everyone else.
Interesting sidenote, HM cast the pop specific spell brilliant earth and then lifts it to the next rank and was about to lift it to the third. Meaning settlement spells have ranks. In which case some of Richter's settlement spells might just be army killers after all, assuming he can get sufficient mana. Also, HM basically mana-raped everyone present to save them, breaking one of her own core rules. With the implication that HM does not need permission/ willingness to take the mana of hundreds of people for her own use, nor does she need to spill blood. That's kinda OP, HM the army slayer.
Nice combo between HM and Richter. He can get mana from blood and she can get mana from others, including what Richter gets, directly. They would work well together on the battlefield. She could have/ might have drawn from Richter before the bloodstone started casted, if it had not already cast its shield.
I'm thinking that last pixie that tried to bond with the Litch, will become a corrupted pixie. Even though we are told the story of the pixie was over, we were also told it didn't have a name, which should not be true. As such the info that the story of the pixie being over is also suspect.
I think he has enough enemies and doesn’t need an abyssal running around. Hopefully it stays that way (or somehow turns out to have died in the dungeon so we get more pixies that way). He could easily make another pixie go nuts in the future and get an abyssal that way if he really wants to.
Gah there is so much useless info in book 7. Financial info, three penis soup, post sex, etc. The Maid Tiffany, why the heck does she not have an official position. I don't want Richter to random gives people jobs that aren't recognized by the settlement, ask Randy first. I'll just hope he did talk to Randy and he told Richter there was no such official job for her, like gardener.
