While I don’t share this level of anti-gods eye. I do agree that I would much rather see another chaos seed book.
Not really anti. I’m not protesting against it but I’m sure not advocating for it either. I understand Aleron might want to write multiple series. I just don’t think he is considering his time. When you promised your readers deadline after deadline for one story while working on other stuff and failing to deliver isn’t cool. He definitely wants to be worshipped by everyone. With that in mind and him developing hisself and family into Gods it’s just a turn off for me. He really needs to just stand and deliver for what he promises. Or he shouldn’t make any promises. No promises made. No promises broken.

I got a feeling he's gona fail to deliver on all of those, since the only deadline left is the maybe winter 2021. Which we know has a very low probability of actuallying coming out in winter.
Oh you know. Aleron is making the book longer then what he originally thought. Plus he is working on the second gods eye and he has another project he is working on as well. She might as well said blah blah blah and he is working on other projects.
Yah forgot about this tiny issue lol, I mean I do love the end result, but still Book 7 took FOREVER to be done, and it was delayed like 20 times... Sure he is expanding book 9, Book 2 of Gods Eye is not getting any smaller either, now add a new book series and comics, and audio... dude this entire entertainment industry he's working on. Just think about the comics, they need to be reviewed, updated ...
I'm ok with the delays if book 9 is as good as book 7 was. Especially with the length since book 8 was half a book at best.
Do you notice that he never says how long he intended the book to be in the first place or how many pages it is so far, which is easy for him to give. All these BS delays push me further from the series. I recommend He Who Fights with Monsters and Dungeon Crawler Carl for those looking for decent things to read that are continuously updated.
I agree Andy! It’s a shame that someone would just stop working on a decent piece of work to get hung up in other stuff.
I get frustrated by the delays as well, but as far as pushing me from the series... nah! Lol I'll be right there when book 9 comes out. I like the books you just suggested but truthfully, imo. There's no litrpg out there with the depth of the land. Hell there's 2 forums full of speculation. Your not getting that with Dungeon Crawler Carl (even though I enjoy the series) I do however think AK doesn't do himself any favors with the bs. I think fans of the book are starting to not be fans of him. I still like the dude, I can't be mad at a guy attempting to branch out. Especially seeing as he constantly reminds everyone he's "independent". He's not just an author, but marketing, shit warehouse, shipping lol... I just want the book and can't wait to get it.
I’m not so sure about the two forums thing. Why do you think there are two forums? Why do you think other LitRPG’s don’t have them? It think it’s all the open ended quest. Aleron has a CRAPLOAD of quest that haven’t been finished. Even Alerons creations in the story open up minds as to what could be created. So unfinished quest and the ability to create things in this series has people talking. That’s good for his series. It’s good for conversations. For those of us that like to debate possibilities within Alerons realm of the Land we rattle on. I can name a lot of books that are better written or even more complete so to speak but the “rides” are not the same. What we get from Dungeon Crawler Carl is totally different. It’s more of a completed journey that keeps you within finer lines with less wonder and speculation. Where as Alerons Land is all over the world every quest has opened new doors. With so many of those new doors not ever being opened we haven’t journeyed down those corridors. Aleron should take us on those Journeys in order to complete the story lines. Unfortunately he seems overwhelmed with other things.
