Say we gather 1000 points in 25 dayz. What happens? It seems that some quests have hidden bonuses f.e. Defeat the Litch quest. Or Build a healers hut. Remember 22 days is a Looong time period, also we have already about 8/100 points (2 form bean & 6 from worm. Also we have now like 3 dead big worms/ soon 4 so thats another 24 points => total is 32/100 or 1/3) We really need to harvest some undead
Think the quest just auto ends once 100 points are reached. Starts the "lottery" and he gets his prize. After which he should get his secondary prize as well.
That was my thinking as well, but that's not what it says strictly speaking. Aleron could go for a situation where you can go beyond the norm and earn a 100 points for augmenting mind, body and soul, but the minimum is earning 100 points for one of the 3. That would be a hidden success condition.
Sure probably you are right and a big worm gives us 6 points. So f.e. We get to 98 points. The if we kill a Tier 3 Undead Ghost. f.e. we might get 30 points, also exceed the limit by 25% or if 55 points exceed it by 50%.. probability for it depends on our luck Even if the quest closes we should get another quest in this line, f.e. consume 200 points within next 100 days or something.. so all is fine not that easy to get a bonus here
Oh I would love to get more than 100 points allowing for more upgrades, the reason I'm thinking that might not be the case is the wording of the reward. "from augmenting your body, mind or soul" My thought isn't that that this is some rothfuss-ian plant of grammar but Aleron subconsciously referring to how he wants to set up the quest. Also I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure this quest has changed since release. I could swear I had an opposing opinion like a year or so ago based on the wording where he could farm multiple benefits from this
