That's what happens with skilled people. Eventually, they make too much progress on their art and become unavailable because everyone wants them. There are a lot of good artists out there. Even so, it would be nice to work with the same artist for consistency.
I'd be interested to see what people like or hate in covers, since I sell premade covers. I've just been getting into LitRPG because it seems to lend itself to the kind of covers I like making.
My all-time favourite covers are the covers Jon Sullivan created for the Neal Asher Polity series. In fact, his covers are the reason I picked up one of Neal's books in the first place. I was in an airport, looking for something to read and the main reason I bought the book was because the cover caught my attention. Thank goodness I did, because that is now my favourite sci-fi series. I even ended up friending Jon on Facebook.
I really love the old fashioned, pulpy, over-the-top painted covers from the 80's - Frazetta, Vallejo, that sort of thing. Anything by Michael Whalen, Wayne Barlowe, Jim Burns, Rowena Morrill, Gervasio Gerardo, Darrell K. Sweet. Some favorites:
