Erotic content. Most of them have erotica in their backlists, or maybe erotic romance. B&N was the major site to publish the wildest erotica, and overnight they changed the rules and are suspending and terminating accounts over things they allowed just a few days ago. It's not the first time a site has gone nuclear on erotica writers. I have erotica in my backlist, so I fully expect to be tossed into the darkest dungeon they have, with the hangman following close behind.
Some writers are getting their accounts reinstated by e-mailing them. Honestly, if I'm terminated I might not appeal. I really don't earn squat off their site.
I typed THE END this morning. Thing is, I realized the ending was just petering out halfway into a new adventure. I was writing chap 22, but the story really ended with chap 14. I accepted I couldn't have a 50k book AND have it a good book. I was just adding chapters on, setting up the next book. Easy solution, cut and paste chap 15 onward into a new doc, and end this WIP at chap 14. Done deal. I have a completed book that is 12k longer than the previous book in the series, plus I have the first 7 and half chapters for the next book written. Okay, it'll take some rewriting at the beginning of the next book to make sense, but I'm golden now. Time for cover and edits. This book is right at 35k words.
Rumor has it that Gamer Girl In the Orc King's Harem has a cover and will be published as soon as it is edited.
Well that last post is a hot mess. I haven't figured out how Paul so perfectly places covers on the upper right. Hmmmm.
Haha sorry guys. Highlight the image (click and drag so it's highlighted) then click the fifth from the right icon (it'll say Float Right when you hover over it)... click that while the photo is highlighted, and it'll float it.
I couldn't get it. On the brightside, I sent the book to the editor. I have a cover. So I can published as soon as editing is done. WIN I celebrated with three HUGE glasses of milk. Still no buzz. Am I don't something wrong?
Yes. A good mixer to add with the old moloko is Kapali coffee liqueur. It's not expensive, only is around 40 proof so it isn't too strong, and yet it has a better flavor than the more expensive Kahlua. A good mixer is making a chocolate milk and adding Kapali to taste. It adds just a nice touch of coffee, giving the brown cow a little kick.
Been a bit since I've had alchohol, and when I do I'm usually playing hearthstone and begin slinging insults at my moniter, despite my opponents not being able to hear me.
I used to play hearthstone a lot. Got my butt kicked fairly regularly because I was terrible at the game. I used to win little tournaments and stuff but never got to the big time. I haven't touched it in a few months so lord knows how far behind I am now.
I'm going to publish this today, come Hell or High Water. And here in Texas, right now, that means something. So there. Ha! A question. This is an erotic LitRPG about an elfmaid, and the first book got pretty good sales (and is still selling). But I have a pure erotica Elfmaid adventure series under the same pen name, yet the sales in that series are unaffected. Meaning no crossover sales. Am I doing something wrong? Are the covers and blurbs bad? Even after 6 years of indie publishing I haven't figured this stuff out.
