Hi, I'm Tom Gallier (along with some pen names), I'm very happy to be here and hope to contribute. I just learned about LitRPG in 2016, and read a lot of books. I loved them so much I began writing in the genre this past spring. In fact, I published my first LitRPG book today. I'm both excited and nervous. The book I published today has erotic content, men, women, orcs, drows, elves, vampires "interacting". I know there isn't a lot of books like mine out there, but it was the story I wanted to tell. I do have a much longer novel written, but I'm having a problem finding a cover. No sexy times in that book, so I might do better. We'll see. Anyway, those are my LitRPG chops. And much thanks to Alara B for help beta reading my book as well as cluing me in about this forum.
How did I miss saying hi to you? Oh yeah, we had one of our weird forum flash mobs come through. Alara is a lovely person, and any friend of hers is a friend of ours, nice to meet you! What is your fav LitRPG other than your own?
Hello, Felicity, My favorite. Wow. Good question. Actually, a hard question. Alterworld, because it was the first I read, and the most game like and got me interested. But I read The Land: Founding and really liked they way he told the story. And well, Lewd Paladin because that showed me we can get freaky in this genre, too. And who doesn't love to get freaky. That's just off the top of my head, so those are the ones that have stood out.
Still have yet to read Alterworld. Got the freebie first book and it's been sitting on my kindle for a good 4 months I'd say.
It's the most game like, but I though the MC breezed through, leveled up, and mastered the game too easily.
