Hello guys and gals, is it more or is it getting harder to find a semi decent sci-fi, set in space with a good plot and isn't written by a 12 year old who just binge watched star wars
Do you have the third Key of Time as discussed ten years ago? Haha. We like to have (strange) fun here. How did you hear about us?
Howdy. Whatchu mean by dat? What do you consider semi-decent? Space Opera? Space Fantasy? I don't know if anyone is even writing Hard SF anymore. just wondering.
Sadly I may have lost it, can't seem to find it Wahoo, I like strange fun I found this gold mine when I finished my first set of litrpg books nd wanted more
Andy good sci fi that has a decent plot like the perimeter defence, the phantom server and the gam3 series. As long as its got a decent plot that doesn't deviate every other chapter.
I hope you find something. I know how hard it is to find the good stuff. That's why I write what I like.
Same here, it can be quite hard to find one, but when I do I hope and pret that it's part of a series
It's not LitRPG, but have you guys heard of the Cross Time Engineer series? https://www.amazon.com/Cross-Time-Engineer-Adventures-Conrad-Stargard/dp/0345914392
Not until now, just found a copy ton download and just about to start it. Sounds like it's gonna be a laugh
I'm a quarter way through it, its a pretty good book for when it was written. I look forward to reading the rest of the set
Glad it held up. My dad is a HUGE hard sci-fi guy, so he always had interesting stuff laying around. Heh.
I'm into sci fi myself, one of the books I'm reading at the moment is the frontier saga by Ryk Brown. Unlike most sci fi books or TV programmes where the main character thrives and overcome hardships like they where born for it, I these books it shows what it would be like if a normal person was thrown into the deep end surrounded by piranhas. Plus its got quite a bit of humour
I had this idea for a sci-fi book. Humans come up with cheap ways to get stuff off the planet. So... they start sending all their garbage into space. A few decades later, aliens are spotted at the edge of the solar system... with all the trash we'd shot out for the last XX years. The only man who can save everything? A janitor on a space station. Haven't written it yet.
