Hello all, I forgot to post here when I first joined the forum, but here goes. I'm a full time Stay At Home Dad (SAHD) and have been since well before COVID. My son is almost 2 and I left a 20-year career in hotels to come home and be with him. During naps and after bedtime I try to find time to write. On walks and while doing dishes and what not I listen to audiobooks (a mix of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and LitRPG). My listening speed ranges from 1.75x to 2x. I DM a weekly D&D game for my friends and tend to fall into that "forever DM" category. I'm an occasional console gamer, though every time I sit down to play, I generally feel like I should be writing! Anyways, just wanted to say "Hi" and I guess I did that.
Justin Monroe, Welcome to the forum. Fitting in writing and listening to audiobooks when possible, I think is what many of us do. It's cool that you're able to play D&D weekly. I manage it with former college friends once every couple months. Terry
I'm fortunate that my wife has made my D&D night a priority. It's really the only social thing I do all week. Just the right amount of interaction for this introvert!
