Who Wants to be a Hero? Eric and the others search for Sarah on level one-three while dealing with overwhelming hordes of undead. With tougher mobs comes better loot, but they need to be on their toes as the group fights to survive. Every battle brings them closer to the truth. New adventurers join the party along the way, each of them with their own vision of what it means to be a hero in the Tower of Gates game. Eric takes them at their word, but he’s also learning not to trust anyone not in his original group. Can anyone be trusted? To clear the level, they need to find safe passage off the Grabisco Isles and head toward the continent known as Gracoria. Confused and alone, Eric heads even deeper into the game, desperate to rescue Sarah from life as an NPC. Nothing and no one will stand in his way. Jump right back in where the action left off in Human, Book Two of the Tower of Gates series.
Broadstrokes outline turned into detailed chapter by chapter outline... Gonna start on chapter one today, I think. Still wondering if I should do this first or Roguelike. I think this one to finish the first trilogy then offer Roguelike before the next set of three starts.
It's weird, but I've been selling as many if not more of Goblin than Human so far. Not doing as well as I hoped. Fix to that is not waiting 5 months to publish the next one! I've been thinking about these two next ones (and the whole series) a lot lately, and it's all coming together wonderfully, I think.
As long as you are concentrating on putting forth quality, the long game is what counts with book income. I wouldn't worry, build it and they will come!
