If you enjoy this forum, I could use some help in a new book I just put out...Even a sale at a buck or a borrow / review would be helpful! Thanks! Appreciate you guys! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L9DRJF1 GPT-3 AI + Human = RPG Gold Read hundreds of wizard character backstories! When Paul Bellow lucked out and got access to the GPT-3 API from OpenAI this summer, he immediately set about teaching it Dungeons & Dragons. This collection of wizard character backstories is a sample of output from the LitRPG Adventures Workshop which is powered by GPT-3 API, currently the most powerful language model on the planet.
Thanks. It's been a great project this summer - so much fun. I had to write 100,000+ words to train the AI, but now that I've done that part, the stuff it comes up with is kinda epic. The book is over 600 pages of examples ... for only a dollar!
Not as long as it took autos to replace horses, I imagine... Seriously, I bet we've got 5 to 10 years of Centaur / Cybrog (human + ai) then it's mostly AI unless you're REALLY good at telling a story...
That's not an unreasonable expectation. Given the current speed of development it won't be that many years before AI starts making serious inroads in the job market. Its already starting in fast food with mcdonals and others experimenting with partially or fully automated restaurants. Stores will follow and so will transportation(24/7 drivers that do not get bored, tired or distraction will make transportation safer and cheaper). Sure it will take decades before automatisation reaches some sectors, but others are likely to be unrecognizable witthin the decade. Unless of course we start augmenting ourselves to boost our basic abilities, then humans mightt cling to some sections of the jobmarket indefinitely. On the flipside, imagine the awesomeness of having your own genius-level robot author making sequels to proprietary works - for personal enjoyment only of course XD - in addition to unique creations.
