I've been a fan of LitRPG since before it was called anything other than fantasy or sci-fi. Guardians of the Flame, Otherland, Snow Crash, etc etc. I've been sampling a ton of the LitRPG available through KU and I'm hoping you all can help me separate the wheat from the chaff because, uh, it seems mostly chaff so far. And, like most of you, I've got my own LitRPG-ish story that I've had kicking around for awhile now. Here's hoping this place helps give me the kick in the pants I need to actually get the damn thing done already.
Welcome! Make yourself at home. Earn some gold. Buy yourself a torch to explore the deep dark cave, or an old mac and AOL disk to join the meta verse. Don't let the lord of darkness shortchange you for your soul. The lord of chaos pays better rates.
I know what you mean. As strictly a reader and fan, I've learned to spend my time on 4 star plus works. As close to 5 stars as possible. That's my not-so-secret method!
It also helps to pay attention to the number of reviews and the actual quality. If they only have a couple of ratings but no real reviews I ignore those.
Greetings. I'm a gonna say, when I first looked at your picture, I thought,"Ooh, must be related to powdered toast man!" Then I realized it was a paper bag.
