Hi Everyone. I'm a new author who has just published his first novel, Infinite Lives Online. Now that the book is finally out there, I get to escape from a life of staring at Word documents all day (well, until I get back to work on the next novel, at any rate) and am currently wandering the forums like a little lost noob. I joined up last night, and my first quest (inserting a link to the book into my signature) was an epic failure. But have no fear, for I have restored my vigour via the magical elixir that is beer, and am back to try again. Thanks for inviting me to join Disclaimer: Despite a name that suggests otherwise, Elven Steele should not be used to forge melee weaponry for the purpose of stabbing orcs. Attempting to use the author for this purpose shall likely produce disappointing results.
Welcome! Our elven cookies are totally natural! Ahem. I mean they do NOT contain real elves! We love elves! Especially those with Steel! ;p Seriously, though, welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. You can edit your signature here... https://litrpgforum.com/account/signature
Hi, thanks for the warm welcome. I have tried adding a link on that page, but every time I highlight the words 'Infinite Lives Online' and try to add the amazon link to the book, it says I'm not allowed (in case it's spam). but I've seen other such links in other profiles. Any idea where I'm going wrong? Perhaps I need a cloak of invisibility to sneak past the spam filters?
Viergacht, don't you realise that image is perpetrating a culturally offensive stereotype about elves? Post it again and I'll get the leader of my party to run you over with his sleigh
And yay, I've finally got my signature working. Truly a momentous achievement for a level 4 elf who doesn't even own his own sleigh. Bards will sing songs in my honour...
Ah. That's what I need, I was wondering what I was missing! Don't mind me though, I'm probably just jealous.
