Hey, hey! LitRPG author Alex Knight here! Setting up my profile and preping an intro post, but I wanted to say hi. I love helping writers and the aspiring writer section seems a great place to do so. Access to that would be rad.
Sort of. It has the eeriness of Lovecraft, but also a little steampunk and a little Silent Hill...with some splendor to cut the horror.
I once wrote a novella about a man after a hat that somehow ended up facing down necromancer lawyers and and elder god named Bob. If that's not splendor, I don't know what is.
Also a LitRPG author I suppose, though I'm just starting out. Going well though! Already got almost 20k words and I'm having a blast!
Are you published in another genre? You can also get an item from the shops to get into the Aspiring Writer's Guild. DragonByte Shop | LitRPG Forum
I have one completed book posted online, though nothing published in print or on kindle right now. Waiting on a cover that's been dragging for a few years now. I believe I bought that item earlier, went on a little bit of a shopping spree. Gotta spend all these thousands of litcoins!
No, it's on getinkspired. You're telling me. I've had a couple artists agree and then ghost or something comes up and they don't have time. I'm sure I'll find something, I just need to put a bit more effort into it and branch out. Was trying to not rely on complete strangers, though I found a site through this forum that sells covers!
Thieves' Race Not LitRPG but it is fantasy based. Finishing it was such an accomplishment for me and made me realize; that was only a starting point. I could do more. So I started branching out and now I'm here!
Hi, I'm a scifi, apocalyptic fantasy author working on my first litrpg series. I would love to participate in your author's guild. I also spent like four years in podcasting, first as AudioTim, then running Adventures in Scifi Publishing. I retired to focus on publishing, but I really enjoyed producing interviews and helping spread the word about authors. That'll always be a part of me, even if I'm too spread thin to host a website on it like I did then. I can go more into this in an intro post, but for here, please add me to the secret author forum. I'll link my Amazon page, though it is missing my last book, Ultras, which hit the USA Today and WSJ best seller list through the Dominion Rising box set. Ultras was written as I discovered litrpg, and as a result, it and the sequel could use some advice from the experts here. Thank you!
