Howdy. Fellow Author here. Working on getting my first LitRPG book done. Hoping to join the writers forum. Thanks!
Welcome aboard. Have you published at all yet? If not, you can pick up a used typewriter in the shops to get in the Aspiring Writers' Guild.
Hi! Lawrence Ambrose here (not sure where else I'd be). I'm a recent convert to LitRPG, though I've been told my one novel (so far) is more properly classified as GameLit. I think your definition agrees.
Hi, Lawrence Ambrose here (not sure where else I'd be). I'm a recent convert to LitRPG, though I've been told that my first and only gaming novel is closer to GameLit. I think your definition agrees. Cheers, Larry.
No problem. Glad to have you here with us. We've got shops and other cool stuff here... DragonByte Shop | LitRPG Forum How did you hear about us?
Funny thing. I was googling "definitions of litRPG" - I've heard from a couple of people (including LitRPGPodcast) that my novel wasn't litRPG, so I went off in search of the One True Definition and found R.M. Mulder's article: GameLit is not Synonymous to LitRPG. I thought it pretty well-written and considered, so I figured I'd check out your site a bit...and liked what you're doing here.
Just joined the forums after finding out about them in discord, I'm interested in gaining access to the Aspiring Authors Guild, I am currently about 45k words into writing my first book and would love to see and ask for advice from there.
All you need to do is purchase the Used Typewriter from the shops and you'll get in... General Store | LitRPG Forum
Howdy! I'm a new author. I just published my first novella to Amazon and I'm hard at work on the sequel. I also have a non-litRPG sci-fantasy novel that I'm prepping for publication. I was invited here by Paul Bellow from a thread I posted on /r/litrpg on Reddit. Thanks for having me! For those interested, my novella Roguelock is here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3XQPGX Forgive the cover art; I'm waiting on proper art that I've commissioned. Accordingly, I haven't promoted the book at all yet. It's sold two whole copies, though! (And had a few reads on KU, if I'm reading my metrics right.) I'm looking forward to becoming a part of this community and benefiting from the accumulated wisdom herein. Cheers, Red
Hello! I've been writing The Magineer for about a year now. It's an ongoing Sci-fi/Fantasy LitRPG web-serial about programmable magic. I'm about to digitally publish the first volume and would like to be granted access to ask for advice from the veterans, please.
Hi just put my first LitRPG novel Infinite Lives Online up for pre-sale, hoping to join the writers forum if I may?
Hi, I published my first litrpg in May. It is light litrpg especially for people new to the genre or those who do not know much about game mechanics and may get lost with too much detail. My second book in the series is also litrpg but the next ones wont be although the characters from the first books do appear throughout the rest of the series even though the genre changes. First book March of the Gnomes, second one Fight of the Gnomes and the third (non-litrpg) is Power Hunt.
