Jumanji 2: Welcome to the Jungle Trailer --> Extended

My wife and I just watched it again and I’ll give it 5 stars. It’s just a lot of fun and everyone did a fantastic job. I think Jack Black deserves quite a bit of credit, because he was genuinely portraying a teenage girl, rather than making fun of the very idea the way most comedic actors would have.

I really enjoyed the game elements, too. They were simple enough to keep kids from being confused, but it was very much a litrpg story and the characters were able to exploit the rules in intelligent and interesting ways.

I do have to ding it a bit for zoological ridiculousness, though. I understand it’s a deliberately over the top fictional setting, but rhinos are not carnivorous, not even the albinos! Apparently hippos are technically omnivorous, so I’ll give them that one. And of course the average hippo would be happy to kill someone, even if they wouldn’t eat them afterwards. They do it for the art, man.
