Is anyone not excited about this new book? Personally it feels like it stole the rest of book eight from me, do I got half the book instead. I was also hoping it would a book about Roswan...and it still could be I suppose.
Should be fun, although it's supposedly somewhat darker and more serious then The Land books. Was planning on starting a Post on Gods Eye myself but wasn't sure where to put it.
I have heard nothing. There will be so much sent out when someone is made finial you won't be able to ignore it.
I am kinda looking forward to it, but i do feel monsters suffered for kongs split focus. Non-adolescent fantasy post apocalyptic litrpgs are usually pretty interesting. Not that there are very many of those.
In the March 6th update he gave in FB he said that itll come out near book 8 audiobook time and JordanCon(Mid-April). Although I don't know how much he would delay the release now that JordanCon was canceled due to Covid19/Coronavirus. Is he still practicing medicine? That would probably postpone any progress/releases he makes if his hospital is overloaded with patients.
He is not currently a medical practitioner. There is a distinct possibility that he and anyone else with a background in medicine will be recruited for various health programs (almost certain if the US does not manage to break the insanely steep upward corona-curve soon), but for now he should have more time to write.
Just wanted to point out Aleron is a habitual deadline breaker. I’m still waiting, but bro... I thought this book was finished before book 8 what’s the hold up.
Seriously? This is starting to get on my nerves. Prediction for the future Possibly because there is no news about prisoners either (another great book that was supposed to come out by the end of april, but probably won't. In caulders words "promises were made") or maybe its the 10 hours I just "invested" into learning basic sql. Why is it so freakishly difficult to comprehend - this is the part of coding I hate, building up a comprehension of the basic logic - it takes forever and there are no real aha moments.
He did say in the interview that once he changes one thing, he has to go back and recalculate everything lol. Because he knows he will get so much shit from his readers when the numbers are not right.
I can accept Aleron getting the numbers wrong. Getting them exactly right should be the least critical part of his writing process as anyone with a bit of time can crunch through the numbers and see where they are wrong. To me that's part of what the editors are paid for and if not the editors, then the betareaders should easily catch it. Much harder to tell whether the story is headed in the wrong direction.
He announced that preorders for the labyrinth come up next week and the book will be available 2 months after. Also said the 9th book hopefully comes out around the end of December but if he continues writing at this rate, the earliest the Chaos seeds series will be completed is 2060. That is if he sticks to his 50 book plan.
Gods Eye: Awakening, I'd now on Pre-Order at Amazon. It also says more about what the Story is about. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08JJGYZJM/ref=dbs_a_def_awm_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i8
Interesting. So it won't be set on earth at all it seems. Also remy becomes a god right off the bat, which means he likely has very, very limited personal power. Effectively a level 1 god. Though he does have a tribe of worshipers so that's something. This smells like another realm builder. Especially given the title "God's eye".
