It's likely to play out both in the God World, and Labyrinth Earth, and probably other parts of the Labyrinth and later other Realms and Worlds. I also thinking that his "Tribe" is likely to be (at the start at least) his Sister and the other survivors that he got to the Shelter. I am wondering his much of Chaos Lords we might see in the Books? I'm thinking possibly a little of them when he is made into a God and possibly in other occasions, if not obviously then at least hints of them helping out?
The entire time I was thinking that Remy would be a chaos seed who spawned in the labyrinth. I wonder is this is where the Gods of The Land where banished to. And will this have something to do with them coming back to the land
I think that's half true. My impression is that the gods of the land were pushed out of the Land but also that many of them remain in the vicinity seeking to return - hopefully selfish and evil gods were more likely to leave for greener pastures. We have textev of them trying to break the barrier when the new age began only to learn it was as strong as ever. We also know the bloodstone was sending power to its master. That said, the godly battle royal could be a shortcut to greater power. If your followers do well you rise in power, otherwise you are forgotten and become little more than a memory.
It might be that the Battle Royal might be to help to choose which New Gods (like Remy?) get to continue(/&survive) as Gods on Labyrinth Earth, as well as possibly to see which Old Gods can move into Earth?
Seems overly complicated and it would favor candidates with a handful of traits useful in a battle royal that wouldn't be that useful if you are in for the long haul. What happens if the race in question dislikes the winners and refuse to worship them?
Am wondering whether the Humans of Labyrinth Earth will be marked down as being Chaos Seeds in their Stat Page? And what that mean for them if they are/aren't?
Will be interesting to see how Labyrinth Earths(/Telos's) Magic systems differs from The Lands (plus it might give hints of Magic types that exist in The Land that we haven't seen yet), not to mention how a Gods Magic, Powers, Skills and Abilities are different from a Non-Gods (might also give information about how The Lands Gods might function should they return?).
I've just noticed on the Gods Eye description that it says, - "Telos is a world at the centre of the Universe. A bright jewel wrapped in a Lattice of realities. It is a world that gods and demons call home at the Beginning of a New Age." - The mention of 'at the Beginning of a New Age' is obviously a Reference to the Age of Chaos that Richter Started, but I am wondering if it might also possibly mean that Telos might possibly be either a New World brought into existence or (more likely?) has been Revamped due to the New Age of Chaos?
Well gods eye apparently has it first chapter released on patreon. Inorder to read it you need to spend more than the book will cost though. It seems his patreon price is $10 a month for a mostly silent page. I think it had one other post since monsters release.
I'll wait the 21 days. I can't afford to throw money out the window, and Aleron definitely doesn't need to earn more.
One idea is that earth is now part of the labyrinth. This is of course not even remotely confirmed. That the earth is now connected to the labyrinth is however confirmed in the gods eye prologue. Either one could be called labyrinth earth
Ooh, this sounds really interesting. I'm so glad I found a place where people are into these books like me.
Turns out I am really weakwilled - what a surprise - so I gave in and paid Aleron his extortion money for the prologue, chapter 1 and chapter 2 of gods eye. Though i'm off again for december, can't afford that kind of expenditure every month.
If there was any constancy to what he put up on the Patreon I might think about paying for it. How many release dates did we get for Monsters again?
2 that were actual dates. Design and writing are ill suited to hard deadlines because the muses come as they please. That said, start focusing your time Aleron. You can't force the creative process, but you sure can invest some more hours into it.
