Magic: The Gathering Arena Card Game Unveiled

Wizards of the Coast has announced a new digital game based on Magic: The Gathering. Called Magic: The Gathering Arena, the digital card game "brings authentic Matic gameplay to gamers, streamers and fans around the world".

This is the firs title developed in-house by Wizards of the Coast's Digital Games Studio. Developers have created "a Magic experience with the full rules and ongoing content support for new card sets, just like the revered tabletop game".

Testing opportunities for Magic: The Gathering Arena are expected to take place later this year as players "focus on the first iteration of casual Constructed play, with cards from the Ixalan release."
