I've been enjoying these a bit. A lot of action, and the writing improves over the series. I think the first novel in the series (Monster Hunter International) was Larrty Correia's first published novel. What I particularly like is that there is a large cast of characters, but that each is distinct and memorable. Part of it is their uniqueness, but also the way he introduces them, and continues to build depth over the series. When they appear in the plot, they slide right in and there's not a "who is this guy/gal?"
Yeah, the series started out some time back and I've just gotten around to it. I'd had my eye on it and had heard some postive things, but there is only so much time to get through the TBR pile.
