    When I was listening to book 8, it said the following about Macro-Enchantment:

    "The enchantments let him enchant buildings to be stronger, create siege engines that spit fire and enspell ships that would glide through the air like a plane."

    There are some additional talents like soul flavor, that might come into play too. Cloud Giant, Greater Wind Dæmon, and so on and so forth. This might interact with leveling enchantment too.

    What is your best enchanted ship idea? What is the best way to Enchant the ship?

    The Soul Flavour Talent could be used to Significantly increase the Effectiveness of the Kytachi(sp?) Ship Enchanting Skill. So Richter Should Learn that Skill and Help the Shipwright use it on the Ship and Argument it with the Soul Flavour Talent. Presumably it's a Sub-Skill of Enchanting or at least vaguely connected to it.

    Yes the kytachi vessels. It could be he might use the shared Enchantment talent to Enchant with the ship maker.

    For the next boat, we need the wood from that Evil Gobrit tree for the next boat. Then use the Latent Power talent, to get most out base material.

    Use Soul Flavor on with either the soul of the Gobrit tree or cloud Giant...maybe. if we can get Greater Wind Deamon, that would be better. I don't know if earth element materials will react poorly with an air soul.

    Crystal touch + condensed Krystal + personal touch might be better than using the stuff from the cave. +125% effect.

    There could be healing and leveling talents as well, similar to the golems.

    It is kinda too bad that an air golem can't be made into an airship transport.

    It's would be nice to have a synergy of items that would be used too. I suppose if you have enough components of the wynd dæmon they might work together. And abyssal wood planks are not going to synergize with demonic components.

    That could be fine for the next boat, but what about the current one.

    Maybe a shield Enchantment to protect it

    There are most likely Spells (Mend, ect?) and Enchantments that can be used to Auto Repair thing's, either while it has Charges or more slowly over time with a Passive effect. In some cases replacement Material and Items maybe needed to help in fully repairing something, like replacement wooden planks or leather or fabric patches.

    For the Ship being built now I would suggest a Strengthen Durability and to make the Swimming Speed Spell into an Enchantment to make the vessel faster through water as Enchantments at minimum, and a Fire Resistance Enchantment if one can be found. And if see if the Spell that creates a Gust of Air can be made into an Enchantment that can help with the sails, also maybe Haste and Errant Wind for Defence against Missile weapons?

    haha I don't know why I keep thinking about this, but how can integrate a water golem into the ship. If the water golem could be large enough, it could carry the boat on its back, like those figureheads always seem to do.

    There would have to be a Mana level 4+ magical tier item to get the golem large enough. Not sure how that could be done. But there would be some major benefits. If the body could cover the wood, it would be like self repairing armour while in the water. There could also be possible long range water based attacks.

    The Kytachi vessel already gets bonus on the main soul gems used in its crafting.
    Main soul should be Cloud Giant for a few reasons
    A. It’s his strongest soul gathered
    B. A Kytachi vessel takes the traits of the cloud giant which definitely has a flight ability and probably bonuses with wind and air maybe even water. Since it’s made in the mist village I’d imagine getting some diet confusing mist defensive spells.
    C. Personally I’d use a magic core in combination with everything. A flying ship that can self heal would be an incredible offensive weapon for a small village like the mist.

    Alma flying escort. Sprites firing imbued arrows like cannons, dropping core made Alchemical bombs on your enemies. Drop in Yoshi’s commandos. Air Superiority. This is the way.

    Instead of Flight the Cloud Giant Stone might instead be used to create a Concealing Fog like Cloud around the vessel?

    Also maybe a Golem like FigureHead could be created for the ship? It could be given special capabilities, like to aid in navigating shallow or rocky waters or through fog, or the ability to through offensive spells?

    I'll have to look for that list of soul stones that he has.

    I'm thinking this first boat won't fly, but maybe the next will. There is always the possibility though. But if it was easy then the capital of Law would have some. We can always use the core, but I don't think he is going to put it in.

    Maybe the next time a pixie goes crazy we have the correct soul stone ready for it. ;)

    If he could farm that flexible iron, then the age of amazing metal clad ships will begin. Oh the cladding is busted? Just pinch it back together. Good as new.

    I don't think this will be a sailing ship, just a river boat. But there might be a mast on this one, if not the next one.

    Though I would much rather him build a paddle boat powered by water elementals, that would probably require new tech. For a sailing ship, it might be a good idea to make the sails out of that Mist Root. It could make the sails indistinct on the water and less easy to spot by other pirates. Of course there could be a supply issues if it being harvested by the bugbears.

    So I thought that the shipmaster that was a journeyman in Katachi bonding, was already a professional of that skill, but she was not. Now she is a professional with talent points to spend, before she completed the barge turned war ship. The ship will probably be completed before the Mist Lord is back, but what if the Tier 2 specialized enchanter can help before it is done (or i suppose he could enchant it after with a penalty). Will the two ship enchanters be able to create something amazing (besides the katachi bonding).

    What I take from this is that I doubt Richter has the stones to store super High lvl souls like Resplendid lvl sould? he should? How to make more of those stones? Would he be able to store the Wind Deamons Soul?


    Ideas for the Ship:
    • Mana Storage device: store additional 1000 mana, to power up the shield or whatever, increase speed etc.. perhaps even add teleportation magic, Power boost, afterburner.
    • Option for the ship to become a submersible.. good way to hide and explore the 70% of the Jupiter sized planets underwater area.
    • As mentioned above golumn constructs that would pedal the propellers or just row.. free power source

    • Greek Fire: Air Pressurized with a pump Oil and stickiness like glue mixture container, heater on air flow enhanced coals, with a metalic nozzle, 10-300 meter inextinguishable flamethrower. If you try to extinguish burning oil with water.. it burns more. Could be fired beneath too..

    Ship types:
    • Speed above all else, transportation of gems, gold, schematics, information
    • Cargo for a trade ship
    • Warship
    • Mix between cargo and warship, that look like a cargo ship but heavily armored.

    He needs to purchase the "More powerful soul stones" Tier 1 talent. It costs [edit: 40 30 break soul bond was 30] points but increases the level of soul stone that can be made from anything by 1. He should buy it a couple times, for when he can use the create soul stone (luminous) light spell at lvl 15, and just in general. Better to have the extra high stones filled with shittier souls than not have high enough stones to capture souls at all.

    Edit2: also there's another talent off of "more powerful stones (orbit 4)" so it might be a very attractive tier 1 5th orbit talent.

    With that durability spell the shipwright knows, Richtær needs to learn that spell to upgrade it, if he can. Upgrade that Enchantment to level 2 (or 3!) then macroenchant that ship. No need to use gems to hold spells, just Enchant directly.

    I like the idea of adding a Mana battery. If a core ship or scalable ship can incorporate it, it would would be great. A scalable ship might need an upgrade like the Mana battery (if it's not very big), to level up.

    Learning a Resist Fire Spell and then Making it into an Macro Enchantment for the Ship would be useful. (also personal Item Enchantments for people as well).

    Would weak air push have an equal and opposite reaction? I don't think so, because then it would knock back the caster as well as the person it was cast upon. If Newton's third law is not maintained, then a version of this spell would work well in case of an emergency. Give some additional force when needed.

    A version of Weak Air Push that worked in a Circular or Spherical Push of Air around the Caster to push enemies, dust, bugs, gas, ect, away from the Caster in order to give them some room to move (even if the pushback is shorter then Weak Air Push), would be useful for close in fights and if being swarmed or covered by things, both for Melee Fighters, Surprised Ranged Fighters and Casters.
    If used as a Macro Enchantment could be used to impede Boarding Actions on Ships and hinder enemies trying to Climb up the Villages Battlements and Walls.
