Just hope that if it is a chaos seed they don't spawn near a group of their own kind. Or at least hope that group isnt as xenophobic as the wood sprites.
I am just waiting for Richter's nature to change just enough that another sakaru pixie ends up bonding to him.
I imagine if a sprite was found in the desert by one of the desert tribes it would be taken in. Once taken in it would be expected to fight and imbue arrows as Sprites no how. If he couldn’t figure it out or fight good his usefulness would drop and they might not be worth their water. If they could learn to fight well they would be very deadly.
I'm wondering whether the sprites are xenophobes or that is merely Richter's misconception. They are clearly cautious when dealing with humans, but we also know human poachers almost fed 8 year-old Sion to a monster and did succeed with another young boy (I'm not sure Sion ever shared that story with Richter). I could see putting an arrow in any and all human trespassers after that shitshow or at least in the ground at their feet, making it clear they are not welcome. The only sprite that seemed to actively hate humans was Sion, and he had his reasons. HM called him out on it and wanted to help him move on. The sprites seem to have a thriving alliance with the woodelves, it has been implied HM has taken students from other races and the sprites have taken it upon themselves to protect the entirety of the forest instead of turtling in their own landdds. Those are not the actions of xenophobes.
Maybe they just like the forest, not the other races that sometimes come to visit. Or maybe they only like certain races.
Or maybe they hate certain races like goblins, orcs, humans and others that have attacked them in the past? Richter thinks they are xenophobes, but he never sits down and explores how their society works. Nor do we have much evidence that sprites are more xenophobic than the other peninsula factions.
I always read it as their earth guardian village specialization where they don't like races that destroy the forest(or nature?). Richter's first quest was protect the forest after all and it was used to measure his character.
He probably mislabels the sprites as xenophobic, for it isnt a fear of outsiders. They just protect the forest from races and peoples that do not respect the forest like they do. humans could be good or bad, so they are off the list. Its hard to find kinder so no way to tell. Dwarves are probably a maybe. wood Sprites and non-dark Elves are the only solid yes.
I think humans are solidly on the list. Not just due to the poachers either, the kingdom of Yves likely cuts down a lot of trees along the borders of the forest for timber. If not now, then in the past.
I think this is the best explanation so far. They’re likely fine with forest friendly races and have been burned too many times by humans.
Ah, alright. For some reason I thought it would be just some place but a palace could be really neat.
Idea: Core buildings week(prepare needed materials before hand!!) use the core for a new building each day/or few days: Monday: Core Crafting building, end of day we destroy the building by using admin owned panel and extracting the core out of it or just send in the golum, guard, mages, tamed beasts, foxfire to smash it. Tuesday: Core Library, read and research by every villager day!! op research brute force a few researchs! maybe even recruit the entire hisakos army 300 stron = 300 rp points! Wednesday: Core Ship building building like 1 day before completion of the SHIP!! Boom I'm great or what!! not a player but just a PIMP! Thursday: Core Brewery: brew even for a few days all the beer and wine we can 20 barrels! Friday: Core Fighting pit, Coliseum, everyone goes to brawl & skill up in unarmed combat or vs beasts, then be healed by healers etc.. Saturday: Core Kitchen, prepare a bunch of long lasting meals with bonus buffs. Sunday: Core Whorehouse, week was long hoho. and now we can use the core for sacking to the dungeon or whatever.. upgrade dungeon, pop, core flying ship!!
Na Ricther only need to build a core paper mill with his core. That would eliminate the extreme cost of paper that he must suffer for living so far away from another manufacturer. Just think of the books they could print on his own paper. All the paper he could want at near no expense in a region were it brings the most return. He could have normal paper for books of lore, magic paper for spell books, paper for scrolls, TOILET PAPER, paper for history books, paper for weapon schematics, building schematics, paper for maps, drawings, paper for folding airplanes, and MAGIC toilet paper! Who knows paper hats might be the next big thing in Law. Ricther, needs to require everyone fleeing law to help build his Library. I am sure they could get enough recipes for the MV to have its own recipe book. Recipes of the River Peninsula would be a great name for it. Or maybe it should be called Wild cooking in the Wilds including three Penis soup and Sphincter Soufflé. Mama alone should be good for several books. She could have several motivational books like Don’t be a Dumb Bum Go to Work. The twins should be good for two books foreplay for a day and The Long Knight. If Ricther only had access to wholesale quantities of paper his villagers could help him create a Library.
He lives on a water leyline, this man is definitely installing bidets. Eco friendly and a frosty wakeup call
Maybe he can add a papermill onto a library (or the other way around) like he did with the herb shed on the philosophers cauldron
I’m sure he could. Papermill-> Print Shop-> Book Shop->Library ->stationary shop, a cartographer Ricther really does need a stationary shop for the school. Pencils and paper are a must.
Knowing what we do about Ricther and the twins if he can get the water pressure up on that Bidet he might not ever get off the toilet.
