While you are at it, finally figure out what BCD is by preorder Office Wars: Bathroom Politics (Episode 2) haha.
I would but I, like 99% of the population are in VR currently and will remain so until those blasted nannites get the hint and give me those washboard abs I've been hinting at!!!!
Already owned the first book. Maybe I should hold off on buying the second until the 3r one comes out...... heh, I kid. I already pre-ordered it.
You know before my books releases I get a lot of anxiety, I find a lot of shit goes done around my house. I fixed my deck, ripped up a bunch of rotting boards and replaced all of them. Finished building my new desk (like hand built, not an ikea thing). Installed 2 ceiling fans. Patched several dings in the walls from the kids. Planted some trees, mulched the garden. And I still have two days to go before release. Maybe I should focus that into writing haha. Anyone else get like that before the days leading up to their release day?
Yanno, some ppl just go for a run. But, I bet you have a very happy wifey after all that home improvement! *grins*
Haha, she is happy, but I like building shit and working with my hands. When I retire from my day job, I hope I have a full wood shop to make furniture. Something cool and primal about making things. Hmm maybe I should make a LitRPG focused more on crafting. Might be fun. The Carpenter haha.
I like my solid wood desk, no idea of the type of wood but the fucker weighs a few hundred pounds, it also has iron legs, heavy thing. It's been with me for close to twenty years now. Your wife must be happy about all the work going on. You could, you do what I did and take a few days to binge read. it was nice to just step away for a day or two. I get a little anxious, but I don't go on home renovating normally. A craft focused Litrpg could be fun. the issue will be how to keep it entertaining after a single book. But for a single book, sounds like a blast.
I have an old, beat down card table - with an empty desk (cheapie) sitting across the room. Heh. I like it for now.
You know the story behind the scarf, right? The people gave an old lady a pile of yarn and told her to make a scarf. They didn't specify a length, so she kept knitting until she'd used all the yarn. Tom Baker loved it and thus a pop-culture artifact was born. My Oma knitted me one that's ALMOST twenty-feet.
