So what is the use of Zero Fell absorbing the ogre bloodline? Will he be able to summon ogre followers in addition to his pantherkin?

Ogres have obvious potential as heavy shock troops for the panther-kin empire. Once they are decked out in heavy plate and are armed with maces/ warhammers, few foes will be able to stand up to a determined charge from them, especially not if there is heavy arrowfire from pantherkin companies following in their wake.

That and maybe a bit of dino cavalry since the pantherkin dwell in a dinosaur filled jungle.

I think he just needs enough devotion from the the ogres to be able to summon them. When he killed the spiders he got some devotion, but I don't remember the same with the dwarves. Since their old god is dead and no longer divine, maybe one of the post battle prompts we didn't see will say that he has the highest devotion now.

I think he'll have shadow panther cavalry from the group that was harrying the ogres. Either they will raise them like the clubs or capture them from soul tame. Maybe we'll see Ogres riding dinos at some point though.

Any surviving ogres are going to die during the night. The dino may not have been able to crack open the temple walls, but it will feast upon the corpses and wounded outside. Countless other predators will be attracted to the feast.

Even if they survive the night, zero should kill them for massacring his people. That doesn't mean he can't summon more with the blood line, just that these particular ogres attacked his chosen people.

I think they’d be good for manual labor, especially if food isn’t a problem. Shock troops as well, of course. Summon some, get one somewhat smart leader for ‘em, and then set them to easy tasks.

No need to kill them out of hand unless they won’t be good citizens. In that case he should off ‘em (or maybe have his folks level up by killing them).

The Dino is gonna be a problem.

Maybe he'll be able to add the Ogre Bloodline to the entire tribe and give all the pantherkin tougher hides and larger size.

I’d say only do this if it doesn’t detract from their agility and dexterity. Those are their strong suits.

True Zero could get the Spider bloodline and add their ability to walk crawl to the pantherkin then they'd be set, even while small in stature

Did we talk about the fact that he also got the divine eaglebear bloodline? It was a quest reward when he founded his domain.

So the bloodline, like Bill was writing will probably be similar to how we bloodlines in The Land, additional ability. This could give a passive or active power, which for orge is probably something to do with passive increased constitution. But how will this be transferred to the new being?

So he risks killing anyone he gives it to. If he is of that kind of risky breeding program, the will do it. He can purchase more believers, with higher energy. Test it out on a few until he gets an idea of how much power his remaining people have and how much strength the bloodline has. I don't know about feeding it to the eagles bears until momma says okay.

More powers might come from non "common" rank, whatever that means.

Different meaning of bloodline I think. Family line versus blood power.

We’ll see how it ends up (and if Aleron has a good idea how it goes, too, haha) in upcoming books. Here’s hoping it ends up being really neat.

Yes, let the mind of the master do the good work of coming up with neat ideas.

I simply wish he wrote faster and got more, longer books out. And had all of us beta reading to catch the errors.

Sounds like a great idea. I would even like him to release it as a beta on Amazon. Well some of these litrpg books feel like betas when I read them anyway.

With everything in lockdown and his beloved cons cancelled, he doesn't have many excuses (besides getting covid) for taking so long. This SHOULD be the golden age of writing, but most authors I follow are taking more time to write instead of less.

Will a similar thing as the ogre bloodline injection happen in the land?

I’m hoping not. It should remain in the world of the other book, IMO.

Nah. Lots of folks wouldn’t realize it’s a beta and would complain even more.
