How you react when your older socially conservative parents discover your LitRPG book full of bawdy adult humor, characters called Eldertits, and offensive topics and say they are going to read it.
Yeah she’s the most infamous character out of my book that’s for sure. If you ask the kids on the netz they’ll all be like is that the book with the Titties in it? I didn’t use a pen name cause I felt like if I wasn’t willing to put it out under my own name I shouldn’t put the book/series out. That’s not a shot at people who use them just kind of how I felt about it in my own situation. I wanted to stand behind my book with my face and name you now.
True true. Book three has a bit of fade to black and implications but nothing outlandish or going Eldertits about.
Not something I've ever really had to worry about, but then again I'd be very surprised if my parents ever found the LGBTQ+ superhero shared universe I sometimes write for. They know about everything else I've written. Also, heh, Eldertits. Doubly fun if it were actually a reference to tiny little birds.
I had a warlock on WoW named Glittertits. Blizzard made me change it (because it wasn't "family friendly"), so I changed it to Glitterbirds. It was originally partially a reference to them. Also to boobs.
About twelve years into a hiatus at this point, but still kind of on tangent: indietits- these birds are hipper than you
When Paul mentioned starting a newsletter I never knew it was going to tip me off to my parents finding my secret stash of one litrpg lol. I just finished book 2 (well at least the early drafts) and man if they hate book one, they are just going to loooove book 2 whahahaha!
