LitRPG or no? I would say yes, as the world at the point of the film's events is game-like. No leveling or stats, but I think we're all past that obsession now.
Which one? Oh, Pixels. Not LitRPG but definitely Gamer lit. It's one of those movies that improves with a generous allocation of alcohol.
Bloody love that film as it's full of all the arcade games I cut my teeth on. A real legacy film. Brilliant.
But it's a terrible movie though. Even Peter Dinklage couldn't save it, and I love him in everything else he's ever done.
It has elements of LitRPG. Very tangential elements. But I think the biggest thing keeping it from being LitRPG would have to be the fact it's a movie and not literature. The previously mentioned "Gamer Lit" does call for a bit of a discussion on the difference between Gamer Lit and LitRPG, but that's for another day.
