I'd be ok with it, it could be an interesting 'thorn in his paw'. With how people react to seeing chaos, it could make him work for his stat points in charisma.
The one pro is it would help him identify chaos seeds, they'll be the ones who look at him like he's their soul mate.
Also perfect excuse to make a sweet set of shades. Maybe Elementum or Glass once they get ores growing in the Dungeon
One should be able to get a TON of great loot during this battle!!! just wait until some fools will be offed and steal from them.. then run like hell.. No, stop being so BASIC. A summoned creature can steal shit! Rogue with some potions of vapourness.. or rings of +25 to stealth(Like Randy, I mean he is literally invisible even to These dudes.. thats why he is the deadliest dude out there.) Use ring of shadows... use the smarts.. Use Mercs... expendables.. Use bags of holding to steal entire bodies and then resurrect them as undead hohoho What I'm getting at is that even a single item from deceased/ incapacitated dudes is worth 10k gold minimum.. so this is a must do operation, and a single rezzed vindicator is worth as much as a core building.
I think the vindicator might follow mama. The leader of the plague squad had already left looking for Ricther. My hope is that both squads fight nearly to the death perhaps leaving one vindicator to wonder why the plague squad was after Ricther. With luck the vindicators will help Ricther just because the plague squad is after him.
I just wonder how much of the vindicators and plague squads items will be soul bound. It might be the top dogs on both sides might have a resurrection enchantment. That way if the are killed they can still return to answer what happened to their court.
HM has implied as much, powerful beings can get a respawn ability. Though its implied there is usually a high price to be paid, HM asks Richter what he remembers after his first respawn, after getting eaten by wolves. She seems quite worried. Its likely costly as well, as costly as it is for a chaos seed to get more lives (out of reach for most)
Even so it is still possible some of the courts operatives will have that ability. I would also imagine for those that can soul bound items would be a high priority.
I agree, they could have a respawn ability. It may even be stronger than that of chaos seeds, but there will be some sort of cost for respawning.
