I dunno, it sure seems dystopian enough to be the germ of the cyberpunk sci-fi future we dream of.

Theres something about what ive seen of it that feels verry cyberpunk and it gets a wierd sense of grit from just spitting in everyones face like a Ugandan knuckles and saying you think you knew da way of the future no this is de way of the future. Its getting to the point where overserious thinks like the RP1 movie seem funny to me like of course people arent going to be super serious they can be anything they want so there not gonna be some dumb thing there gonna go out there and be silly.

The Mundane Consequences: Trolling, general scumbaggery, adorable innocence, and satellite dildos are all things that will still exist in the Future
One of the biggest flaws in science fiction is that we keep depicting perfectly utopian and perfectly dystopian futures that immediately fall apart when you introduce actual real-life humans.

Some might say "But Yuli, dystopian sci-fi is based totally around what happens when humans get access to futuristic technology!"

And yet how many cyberpunk works do you see featuring avatars of Sanic the Hrothgar or sadomasochistic animu moe girls or Suicidal Piglet? You'd think that, in our post-4chan society, we'd wisen up and realize that these utopian and crypto-utopian ideals of people using/misusing technology for their intended purposes are going to be the exception rather than the rule.

I think its something not enough people realize that perfection is just as hard in both directions and probably always will be just as hard.

A perfect world wether great or terrible is the easiest thing to imagine and to often people seem to forget that even though imagining a perfect world seems hard its far far easier then imagining a real one to often people seem to conflate a perfect world with a real one and create a mess.

    To San Jose?

Try Google Maps, they probably can give you a good GPS roadmap.

    No, it's the now.

And for our younger fellow... hu---ma----nes... (nailed it!) It was the net back in 2005.

I have to say though, that will hunt my nightmares tonight!

Aren’t there still some CoH private servers floating around? If not, DC Universe Online scratches that old CoH (and CoV) itch, from the gameplay I’ve seen of it.
