Thanks for that, I quit my kindle unlimited subscription, and the only book I actually own is book 8 which, I kind of regret preordering. I’d agree way he worded it as a blessing from the lords of chaos makes me believe it’s not a math error.
I think it was mentioned that all powers have spells to create soulstones, but life has the best one?
I think that was soul trap not soul stones, however the same would likely be true for stones seeing as theres no point in having soul trap if you dont have a stone.
All Magic types have Soul Trap Spells, but Life & Death have the best versions, at least amongst the Basic Magics. I'm betting that Deeper & Higher Magics have better versions, (especially Spirit in Deeper, although Blood & Thought would still likely be as good or better then Life & Death Soul Trap Spells). It's likely that other Magics other then Light can create Soul Stones, (after all look at those Crystals from the Dark Abomination and the Stones that can catch Sentient Souls (like those Spirits the Goblin WitchDoctor had), it's just that Light Magic may create the best amongst the Basic Magics, or he was just Awarded the improved version of the Light Enchantment Spell because he already has the beginner version in Light Magic??? I would like for Richter to gain a few other versions of the Soul Trap and Soul Stone Spells and Enchantments, not just for comparison of each other but also do he can give them to other Spell Casters to use other then just Life Mages, most particularly Dark, Water and Air versions but also Death and Earth versions as well. Also the Deeper versions of Spirit, Blood and Thought (at least Blood and preferably also Spirit). Also I'd really like to see the Chaos versions as well. Having other versions of Soul Trap might also help with Cool Down issued and they may prove slightly more effect against their opposing Element's?
Continuity Error Last two chapters dates are messed up. This is all within the same day. Looks like a Beta reader quest egg. (Correct before this) "CHAPTER 42 – Day 154 – Juren 4, 0 AoC" "CHAPTER 43 – Day 154 – Juren 5, 0 AoC" "CHAPTER 44 – Day 155 – Juren 5, 0 AoC" So when he met the orcs this should be CHAPTER 44 – Day 154 – Juren 4, 0 AoC Such that: "CHAPTER 42 – Day 154 – Juren 4, 0 AoC" CHAPTER 43 – Day 154 – Juren 4, 0 AoC CHAPTER 44 – Day 154 – Juren 4, 0 AoC Or maybe "CHAPTER 42 – Day 154 – Juren 4, 0 AoC" CHAPTER 43 – Day 154 – Juren 4, 0 AoC CHAPTER 44 – Day 155 – Juren 5, 0 AoC Seen errors like this before, but usually between books. Sometime for the next book he takes the last mention of a skill , that is incorrect but the listing before it is correct, and will just continue on with the error without realizing.
In book 7 Richter goes up in Life skill levels when his affinity goes over 100%. Should he also go up 1 level in all the Basic magics with his new 105% affinity from the Legendary Adventurer bonus?
"Know This! Increasing any affinity above 100% will trigger an automatic increase in skill level. This increase will continue, decreasing the total affinity by 10% per level, until your affinity is 100% or less." Bk7 So he probably could have gotten 1 level, but could also not be enough. Since 15% got him 2 levels at level 19 in Life Magic, he should have gotten 1 for one magic less than. Email or do a report content error.
Maybe in three levels or four, the Speciaization will give a bonus to higher magic affinities. 'You have a gained a level in Time Magik!'

Wow! Not at all. As a writer, my goal is to make readers happy and level up my skills as I go along. If my readers don't point out my mistakes, how am I supposed to gain xp and level? Haha. Seriously, though. I'm glad you're here with us. While I'm not a huge fan of The Land myself, it's great to see passionate readers such as yourself. Gives me hope for my own writing. I would count it an honor to someday be bestowed with fans as passionate as the @Exiles !
I have only really done this for a few series, The Gam3, Chaos Seeds, and The Good Guys Series (and Bad guys series). The problem with the land is that there are so many technical errors, that I inundate Aleron with emails. He was very good about replying to errors, but when book 7 come around, it was like a tidal wave of errors. So at this time, he has a backlog of my emails he has not gone through.
Oh no, most of us yearn for fans like this! It's amazing to have people so invested in things you've poured your heart and soul into.
Questions for the authors How hard is it to update an Amazon Kindle release with updates? Does it cost you much? Can you work with offline copies to proof it on (I'm thinking non standard symbols and tables etc) before it gets published? Would reports through the kindle reporting be better or emails to personal/business accounts? Edit: or if there's a thread /qa / sidebar for this already would someone kindly point me in the right direction?
