Hey guys, I'm pretty new to LitRPG but I've been reading like a demon lately... do demons read? Anyway, I'm a family man, ghostwriter/editor by trade and for a while I've been looking for a personal project to fill that hole that's starting to lately been getting a bit too much beer and fries. On the game front I'm kinda limited by my PS4 so it's Witcher, Eso, Skyrim. I used to tabletop but not so much any more.
Good luck with your personal project! Plenty of people around here who will nerd out over your game mechanics or story boarding before or after a beta read.
Don't beware of the Elven cookies. They're 100% natural and made from real elves. None of that soy-based faux Elvish substitute. I admit it's hard to taste a difference, but still. Real Elves. Welcome to the group. Someone needs to fire up a batch of Elven cookies and Halfling brownies.
Hi, thanks guys. Felicity, so far, I think my favorite is Viridian Gate Online but it's still early days, I liked Gamer for Life too. And yep, pass those Elven cookies. I will eat them by the handful.
LOL give me a break, I've just started and I'm not a reading machine. I'm human damnit! On a serious note, what would you recommend?
Sorta, kinda of Felicity? No more Warlock cookies for you then, your devotion is waning. Sacrifice more Elves at the altar to renew your devotional status. I kind of sorta liked Gamer for Life as well.... But I know the author who wrote that one and truthfully, he's kind of a dick. If you want a grand epic try Emerilia. The first book is a little rough but the series picks up and keeps going really well after that.
Try Weirdest Noob after that and compare and contract if you would like. Great having you, welcome! This is a fun bunch.... And yeah, elven cookies rock
Kindle lending is enabled on it, I would be more than happy to share if you had an email address for me to loan to. Super easy. I would feel bad for mentioning it if you didn't like it, there has been some discussions on if it is to similar to Way of the Shaman, which why a compare would be cool. If you don't have kindle unlimited it is a good investment in LitRPG reading.
I'm reading a bit of everything right now so even if it's not my thing, at least I'll know what my thing is
