    1. Litch used a portal. Richto has portal tech(Fey portal & just portal, that does not make Richto a bad general). Thats the reason why portals are the Shit, insta travel! how come using portal tech makes you dumb general? Litch is a genius, he created a TRAP, Richto fell into it. Now MV should be a wasteland.. and every MV citizen should be sacked in the Mausoaleum, through the portal leveling it to lvl 4. Brilliant plan. With your way of spending 1 mo to reach the surface would give the enemy more time to prepare and they will notice your approach a long time before the attack(they can run, inform others etc). So you lose the surprize attack chance and also have terrible logistics(how would exactly a devastator travel through narrow corridors and tunnels?). AK cheating and saving MV has nothing to do with Litch strategy. hisako didn't see it , Randy maybe saw it maybe not.. Litch is a brilliant tactician and strategist. He at least planned his war. While Richto did some Highlander Maclaud BS with a frontal assault without any fighters and shields. he had archers and peasants.
    2. And what relationship does current say Ninjas have, does a student love his master? That does not make you bound to one master. You can leave whenever.. but the loss of info, help, techniques will be lost to you.. Litch wants more artifacts! More power, Exiles provides that, And Litch is afraid of losing it! Plus its his first God, so you know. When the connection was severed, Litch clearly has stated he does not give a s*** about his Ex lol, Now he can find a new Exile. Retribution! Sure! It will happen what do you think happens when you make a God your enemy?! but that is the point, if you are strong enough you don't give a sh** you will kill everything that godling will throw at you and trust me very few things in this world can slay a necrolitch imortal master mage. Grandmaster more like it. So yes The Exile will be pissy and for next 5 mo or so and will be f**cking with the litch sometimes sending him a deamon or two to play with(Litch already pwned one). Litch will kill them and gain exp lol. You can change Exiles/Gods like socks Drago, no need to be so attached to one. just be ready to deal with the retribution. Also the army would not follow the Litch unless they would be servants of the Exile which they are not. Why then The Exile simply did not send the army to kill Litch instead he nuked the Mausoaleum with said army.
    3. Litch seeks power, he grows and consumes. I very much doubt you see the plans of the Litch. Though to credit where its due the books really makes it seem like he only wants to serve.. lol but why would he. I bet he has invested a lot of points into Wisdom. Unless Exile had groomed him from the start.

I just went with what poke said for numbers.

There is also an open question whether he can control the unwilling away from the Mausoleum or they need to stay in the vicinity. My guess is he can but we don't know.

Wisdom only makes you marginally wiser just as intelligence only makes you marginally more intelligent.

    1) Opening his gates to a direct assault wasn't a good idea because it was a risk, an unnecessary one. When you have a wide margin of superiority you don't want to gamble, you want to eliminate or maginalise as many random factors as possible because it removes your opponents options for upsetting the game. Plus the Lich knew he was about to receive a major powerup that would let him launch an invasion of the entire forest.

Seems to me alike a min/max strategy. If the powerup lasts for 1 day or 5 days.. or 12h.. you would want to move as quickly as possible. That actually might be the case, Litch get tons of power.. that can last for eternity or say 5 days.. ccause Litch is not as strong as his God. Now if he would build another Statue on the surface and expand..

What you are suggesting is a sure way to win, no risk. but also minimal reward, little style too. Then army could literally be easily stopped in the tunnels, short passages easy to block etc..

The main reason why Singh won against the Greater Air Demon was because he was drawing upon the Power of his Mausoleum, both for Magic Power, Mana and to Heal himself from Injuries. His Enchanted Items and Weapon/Staff also helped a lot. Away from the Mausoleum he would have gotten his @$$ handed to him.

I suspect that Singh might have been a Tier 2 Sprite that then choose his next Ascendance to become a Tier 3 Lich, he did mention to Nien that he was starting to remembering things about the Mist PoP from before his Ascendance (presumably into a Lich). Considering Singhs height it's likely that he was an Ascended Sprite before becoming a Lich, unless he had a Pixie Bond and then lost that Pixie somehow, either by Death of said Pixie or via abandonment when he turned EVIL. Of course we don't yet know if Bonding with a Pixie doesn't have a Tier Up effect on Sprites, guess we will find out when Richter meets Sion or Analyses another Meidon pair.
