    Haha yes yes.
    :ninja:
But what could the tier two requiring tech be?... This is why I don't write books, just posts....maybe a crafting specific specialization.

I imagine something to do with either deeper magics or the process of ascending tiers.
Like don't know what bonuses would be but it could involve things like "have a certain number of tier 2 villagers/professionals with uncommon Ascensions or better".

Maybe as a chaos lord he'll have access to 1 random extra village spec at the time of choosing.

Or a Chaotic Specialization where every level bonus is taken from a different specialization and the requirements are completely unrelated to the reward

With Aleron having written so many books bonding Ricther with his companions, friends, and villagers I find it hard to believe Aleron will replace them with new chaos seeds. I agree it’s more likely that Randy becomes a chaos seed with others following. I just can’t see Chaos seed coming into the story and replacing other characters.

With chaos being a new choice for the Land I just wonder will those that change their alignment be capable to collect points of the earthling chaos seeds? Will the newly aligned chaos characters have the ability to collect chaos points? Would they be capable of reaching into the sea of chaos?

I think Ricther should spam his ice dagger spell and store the daggers in his bag of holding. That way he could pull them out of the bag as needed later.

    >> Well, he does need to get a new trainer/captain of the guard. I don't think Caulder will be back.
    >>
    >> The epilog in Monsters alludes to something that was "a shame" with the Orcs. I presume that means he had to kill them.

The setting is the cavern where Richter met the orcs and fought a most strenous battle against the monstrous wyrms.

He retains his blood puppeted slave and his tamed creature.

He faces off against the four orcs, who respect his power but are not scared of him, being true warriors one and all.

They make it clear they are searching for a loathsome creature that has stolen from them, and just like that Richter realizes none of them are a chaos seed, the creature is.

Moving back and forth while using his chaos sensing ability Richter soon pinpoints the location of the hidden chaos seed and sends his creature to capture said seed, who remains completely invisible he is knocked over by the wyrms.

Moving Closer Richer uses his other chaos power to see that this seed has a total of 2 lives remaining and is a level 11 kindir. Said kindiir is covered in small wounds, some of which are clearly badly infected and there is an unnatural shininess to his eyes. Despite his poor state the chaos seed rolls to his feet and face off against the orcs wielding a rusty old dagger he must have picked up as scrap somewhere in the tunnels. Nothing indicates he has anything of value, but fortunately he does speak English as his only language.

Being of overwhelming power Richter forces the two sides to back down and explain the situation.

Richter learns that the orcs are moving countless warbands under the mountains in search of new lands and riches (as the kindir warned, the orcs are spreading in large numbers into areas where they haven't been seen for many, many years). They are not directly part of the alliance though they do have certain agreements.

Instead the orcs are following in the wake of the goblins, bugbears and others, hunting down stragglers and sacking the occasional minor settlement that escaped the alliance purge of the region. Even a small band such as theirs have gathered great riches, for instance, as they gladly share, they just finished looting one of the cloisters of the brothers in gray, an order of healer monks that operates in the foothills of the serrated mountains as well as throughout most of the firetip mountains. All healers are valuable, but the monks are prized possessions in the orc camps as they are sworn pacifists, neutral in all conflict and will not deny anyone their services.

They invite Richter to join them, promising that he will get a chiefs share of the loot as well as the right to beat and torture weaker tribe members as is proper. As we saw with the orc crafter, orcs are natural bullies.

The orcs have a grudge against the kindir for stealing food and so they made him a slave after capturing him. The kindir claims he needed the food to survive and that the orcs made him a slave when he offered to pay with labor.

After long deliberation of the merits of both sides arguments Richter decides to kill the orcs.

Turns out they’re all from earth and they have a portal to the Mist village in their back pocket. Then they conquer the catacombs for him and he can finally rank up his village. Chapter 2 starts with tons of base building.

The new series will be all about the base-building back in the village. Either that or its set on earth.

I do like base building. I really haven’t found anything like Book 7 or like early Life Reset except maybe a few parts of Limitless Lands.

    I love great base building.

    Now Activate "Critic Rage!!!"

    Radical Opinion Limitless Lands -
"The 93-year-old combat veteran is living his last days in a nursing home and his only hope for survival is an experimental medpod controlled by an artificial intelligence." wtf.. MC is a 93 yo old f*&%^? like wtf...
Who would want to read about that?(retired veterans?!) Also plenty of f**cking Nam flashbacks... couldn't even push past first few chptrs.. too basic. aarrggghhhh

    Radical Opinion Life Reset -
"Someone who has no idea what litrpg is decided to talk to a friend who played some wow and copy/pasta it to the book... literally too basic, but might give a second chance might have finished this one though.

Well its true that there aren't that many truly great town/ kingdom building stories.

I recommend trying out the dungeon lord series, as that has many aspects of traditional fantasy mixed in with the more gamey elements. The latest book is especially good as we start to get hints of an underlying storyline that dares to break with the pop culture trends of "everyone is morally gray or if evil that is explained by insanity" and "gods are just humans with massive powers with no difference in outlook despite being thousands of years old".
Hogbus (unaligned neutral god) feels like a higher being who has decided to lower himself to the mortal plane to reward the champion of his favored people. Hogbus goes out of his way to warn our dear MC, there will be downsides to the gift, as there is with all divine gifts in this world. The ups and downs seem to be determined by the nature of the god. As one might expect, I loved this traditional element

The town building aspects aren't the main focus of the story, but Dungeons are a very important part of the MC's toolkit. He uses Dungeons offensively. Things are not build instantly (so no instant castles), but drones (basic dungeon workers) can tunnel very fast through unprotected soil and they build just as fast. Within a few weeks they can set up a decent fortress.

Its worth noting that apart from the most basic worker drones, all monsters need to be found and then convinced or forced to serve the Dungeon Lord. There is no spawn mechanic, nor is the enemy limited to bringing a handful of people into a Dungeon. They can and do bring an army.

Except when the Light sends a band of heroes of course.
