You do need a Armoury Room though, at least for getting anything worth while enough to be called are weapon.

If that was true then they(Richter/Co) shouldn't have been able to remove the Carcasses of the killed piggies from the Dungeon before they were mostly absorbed by the Dungeon. Other then Blood the Carcasses get pretty much left alone till the Adventurers leave the Dungeon, or at least have a big enough distance between then and the kills occurs, possibly either a difference Level or a Large walking distance of th he Levels are big enough(?).

Only if you want an improved dagger that benefits from a skilled worker working in it. Just like it doesn't need a mint room to drop coins it or an alchemist room to make potions, it can still drop weapons of completely base quality and damage

I suppose that crude bog basic knives might be dropped without a Room.

Swords maces and whatever of the most basic version of each kind of weapon are available if sacrificed. It also can range from trash to master crafted, but it would be as if someone with zero levels in smithing made it so now skill bonus percentage

I didn’t know all the peasants in Yves regularly become adventurers by level 2 or 3. I missed that somehow while listening to the series.

I still think that the two condemned prisoners were truly condemned.

Tell me what equipment would have been available to them?

It’s not like the dungeon leaves stuff just laying around. The Dungeon absorbs everything.

What single foes could they have taken on in order to gain their supplies or gear? At the time they where feed to the dungeon the only entrance to the dungeon was in the Mist Village. I don’t believe they Labyrinth had opened its oneway access into the dungeon at that time. Ricther still hadn’t allowed any adventurers to enter his dungeon.

I’m not even sure what types of drops were possible at that time.

Unarmed combat is alright when fighting other people. I’m not so sure how well unarmed combat works on non-humanoids. Foot sweeps, throws, punches, and kicks aren’t that effective on larger types of animals. Especially those with bone plates for protection. Big horns antlers and sharp teeth connected to a sturdier I wouldn’t think would pull apart real easy.

Next weekend you should get a body builder drunk and get him te wrestle a full grown meat goat. See if he could pull the horns off of it. I know it’s not quite the same but I would really love to see some pictures.

There might well be specialised Sub-Skills of Unarmed Combat designed to help you in allowing you to fight Beasts and Non-Humanoid creatures. Plus of course Unarmed Combat Techniques created specifically for that as well, also some Designed to be used by Non-Humanoids.

When i find a bodybuilder who can carry 400 pounds of weight around all day I will.

40 strength is superhuman levels of strength. It might not be enough to take on an ichorpede or other high level monsters, but its enough to kill lowerlevelled monsters, weapons or no weapons.

I think it's 10 kg per point, in which case it's closer to 882 lbs. Strength OP in the land

Pressure points should be good for animals as well. Might be an initiate or apprentice rank bonus before it shows up for animals though.

I agree the dungeon doesn’t instantly make stuff disappear. I also don’t believe it’s really waiting on someone either. We know the dungeon readily drinks up blood which is really just another resource. With Blood being a resource the dungeon doesn’t wait to see if anyone wants to mop it up. I believe blood is just easily consumed as compared to a carcass.

Even with that said I still don’t agree that the two condemned had any chance to find the remains of anything to make weapons from. Nor do I think they had any chance to survive.

Did Ricther really intend to give the larger group any chance to escape or did he intend to have them all killed?

Why would Ricther give murders and Rapist a chance to escape back into his own village? Why would Ricther assure Randy that the others wouldn’t be a problem and that he had it all taken care of it if he didn’t intend for them all to be killed

Maybe I am completely wrong and Ricther was favoring murders and rapist over people who hadn’t committed a crime in his village. I just find it hard to believe that he would do that.

You would also need to learn those animals pressure points in order to combat them successfully with those tactics.

I never thought that Richter has any intention of letting them have any chance off having any chance of surviving in the Dungeon, I was just saying that might have had a chance of creating or finding some crude Weapons that might have allowed them to either live a little longer or at least fight back a bit more before they were killed. They might have been able to do so for a little while if they were both uninjured and had been smarter, but they weren't.

Not necessarily, Richter knew the first pressure point when he learned the subskill, but he didn't know the one he used to incapacitate the rapist, it just lit up in his vision. Knowing the biology might help for lower levels giving you a better idea where to be looking for them, but at higher levels I bet living beings light up like Christmas trees with all the possible hits.

That was never the point. But a government seen to profit off of executions is open to all sorts of attacks. Not the least of which is whether an execution was for profit rather than because it was warranted.

There is little question the bullyboys deserved what they got and so it wasn't that controversial, especially not when it happened to outsider.

But what about the villagers wiith friend, family, reputation, people that are an integral part of the community? How does it look when the judge/lord directly profits off of their punishment?

Banishment is an ancient form of punishment where the lord leaves it up to the gods. Its what Richter did with both groups, except one group was sentenced to nearly certain death and the others were banished into a dangerous wilderness. In both cases Richter ensured they would die, but created the perception that he was leaving it up to fate.

You can live in a Dungeon or the labyribth for extended periodes. Its not particularly safe, but the Dungeon does not seem to guide its monsters directly.

As i've said before, 40 strength is enough to land killing or disabling blows on many of the weaker monsters.
