There is a chance that if he was reset to Level 1 that as a Tier 2 Entity that his Experience Levelling amounts might be a lot higher then it was initially as a Tier 1, which would make Levelling up again much more difficult.

Richter may have been the first to be taken, but he wasn't the first to arrive in The Land. Either he spent more time "travelling" or AK simply forgot what he wrote in the prologue.
Heman spent some time alone in the dark (died 3 times), then "months" (<- plural!) with the gnolls as a captive, then again some time as their power behind the throne (one month alone between his first and second chaos seed victim so probably including respawn timer and time spent torturing others 3+ month in all) then several times several weeks with the goblins (he "was moved every few weeks" and spent the last month in the valley, so again 3+ month IMHO). Even if we take the absolute minimum (2 months captive, 2 months chieftain, 2 months with the goblins) we reach the same amount of time as Richter spent in the Land.

But that minimum time is misleading.
All in all, Heman got 350 Chaos points from his murder spree and the one chaos seed with 5 lives - which he found worth mentioning because that's so many lives - gave him 40 points. Given that Heman also said the more often you kill them the more points they give (so the 5th life would have been worth the most points, ergo other seeds with fewer lives should give fewer points), he killed at least 9 chaos seeds, maybe twice or even three times that amount. The waiting time for their various respawns should have taken years all on its own!

Unless he made up his entire backstory, he was in the new universe longer than Richter was, probably a lot longer.
And we haven't even met any others which could have been older yet.

Good point. Also, even if his stats do get removed, releveling with the help of Alma would mean the gain of a massive amount of CP's and TP's, and, even though he would be at really low stats, he would be able to get a massive amount of stat points, which would help him reach even higher than he was before.

Think of the chaos points!! 100 points per level and he would probably level over 25 times in a single dungeon run with his A squad and hearth mother protecting him. That one thing alone would be the reason this will not happen.. way too overpowered. Unless AK wants to skyrocket him to rank 9 and add a couple more levels to his sea of chaos access all at once. Loss of skills would really make it not worth it though. And he would definitely lose his skills.

“let’s say I get all the experience you’ve gathered so far. You’ll go back to level one, your skills will reset, but you won’t have any permanent injuries or debuffs." -xeutrix

Edit: Then again the actual prompt only said he would lose his xp. Could be a shinecatcher situation.

That is true. Having skills reset would be devastating, but, if he keeps his profession/specialty/ascension, he WOULD be able to catch up, even if it takes more experience to level. Also, if reset means like COMPLETELY losing the skill, or just resetting it to level 1, there is a big difference. He would have lost his pretty much unique skills, such as Cloud Running or Unconventional Materials. I don't think AK would do that. What exactly do you mean by a "Shinecatcher" situation? Also, I really want the kobold egg to actually come in.

Shinecatcher said he would get the secret of the mist immunity for helping fight the undead (nien) but the actual prompt only said he would get an introduction, which was actually the case.

Agreed on the egg, better crack that baby open before roswan tries to eat it.

I would still love to have him keep the wand and see the shocked look on Xeutrix's face when he finds out that Richters current "accumulated" xp is negative over 3 mil. Then by some loophole due to being an essence enchanter, richter is allowed to keep all of his skills and talents despite losing his accumulated xp since that's exactly what his TP conversion talent is designed for.

Effectively, it'd be a loan transfer allowing richter to quickly level a couple of times and balance his stats before spending several mil xp again to create some truly epic gear in the next book. Scalable enchantments, activated enchantments, deep magic enchantments... ohh yess, all within reach.

I think it would be very funny for Richter to throw the quest, then Xuetrix gains all his XP and that ends up including the XP penalty.
If that's how it works (and if Richter gets to keep all his skills) then it would be a gigantic win for Richter even if he never gets a single additional attribute, TP, chaos point or anything else until he reaches his former level again. For that matter, even if Richter doesn't get rid of the XP penalty it could very well end up as a small win or at least close to a zero-sum game for him.
Remember, that's a 4.2 million XP debt we're talking about, compared to the 3.5 mio he amassed for level 45 if he were to start from zero.
I would give good odds that he can get rid of the debt and regain his old XP faster with the incredible bonus from being a lowly level 1 for most of the time than it would take him to purely work off the debt as a mighty level 45.

Unfortunately, while I would love to see Xuetrix fall into his own trap, there are a couple of problems. a) if Richter were to lose all his skills instead of merely having them greyed out until the appropriate time, the necessary grinding would skew the time (also as mentioned further up: BORING!).
More importantly b) Richter would have to fail the quest deliberately. Unless he enters that Ogre's town, there's no fail condition on the quest after all. It's not timed. If Richter were to return to the Mist village on his own, he never needs to bother with the quest because he literally cannot fail it except by walking in the town and then walking out again without the staff. There's no other condition mentioned.

Right. It says all accumulated exp. The thing is, everything automatically starts at level 1 when you learn it, so you don't need any experience. Richter can't get below 0 exp and level 1, so it is probably the same with these skills. Like with the skill level loss that comes with dying, a skill can't decrease below 1.

Oh I'm not saying he'd lose them entirely. Just that he would lose his accumulated skill levels. Can't really be a professed enchanter at skill level 1. And if dying to Sonirae was anything to judge by, he wouldn't get any XP bonuses for regaining the tens levels (not that this really affects him but still kind of a scrot flick)

With the way stats works, pure min-maxing does not seem to be the optimal strategy, instead they need to lift their stats gradually so that the main stats are supported sufficiently to avoid drawbacks. In other words, if some stats are too high compared with the rest the body becomes unbalanced, hence all stats must be raised to a minimum level, with the exception of luck. This means that while currently Richter has a suboptimal build, he can achieve as good a build as is possible by investing the right way from now on (not saying he will, but he could, especially with his increased stat gains).

Professions are something else that almost has to be grayed out till he regains the required level, as he has already unlocked many talents at great costs. Those are not directly exp related, so they should be safe.

5 times the exp (i think its an increase about that level) may sound like a lot, but it really isn't that bad with the support Richter gets from Alma. I haven't done the calculation, but I think that by the time he has regained his lost exp, he would be close to having as many stat points as before, and would likely have recovered most of his tp and chaos points as well, assuming he doesn't get the original reward for progressing to that level.

Maybe also the massive increase in CP's would help him blow through the Chaos Lord ranks even more.

To increas his chaos lord rank once he would need more than 30 levels. What he gets from leveling is peanuts compared to what he needs.

Yeah, but if he lost all of his xp with the Xuetrix quest, but still retained his Tier 2 form, with Alma helping him and the massive amounts of exp that the creatures around the MV now Brain Drain for, he could probably just hole up in a cave somewhere and wait for like a week or two. Not his style, but I think that should be possible?

Hmm If Heman had the scroll of "change race".. which is not that expensive in cp's.. he could have became an ork.. But then he also had to change his name to Ryuu??

Hemans respawn should take a loon time bro

He was killed twice, so that means at least 3 days.. so the earliest Heman would be snitching&pitching is 1 day after Litch'es death.

if this was not his first death Heman Should respawn in around 1week to 3 weeks so we still have ~7 days before he re spawns(with broken mind), the opens his invisible safe and dies again lol..

    Ah the Hamster.. kudos...

Heman might have been lying.. about everything he is not a simpleton like our boy Richto.
So if Hemas lies... he might not have died even once, but simply chosen to tell the tales of the mole boy... perhaps this is too meta.. but heman was is was smart..
