We can change if necessary, but I think six is a reasonable amount? Lemme know what you think. If you hover over, you can see the description.
We also have a choice. We can allow posting on the root sub-forum or just in the six new sub-sub-forums. Lemme know what you guys think. The main sub-forum could just be a catchall for memes and stuff that doesn't fit in the others? Thanks!
I think locking the root-forum makes the most sense, that way people will at least take a second before adding a thread that when has to be moved around.
Just locked it. The moved threads should "fade out" in another 20 hours or so. We'll try it this way a bit and see what happens. This doesn't lock us into anything. (Pun intended?!?!)
Is it possible to have a general discussion thread ('Eagerly awaiting Book #'...or a better name, 'Main'?) the main sub-forum without allowing new threads or subsub-forums to be created on it? Such that it would be the main discussion. Then when we can reply to the aspect that gave us a new spot into its own thread. It could help with the overlapping conversations that happen. Maybe creating a sticky thread does the same thing, just in the actual discussion forum. Second is the Hall of Records and Game Mechanics. I think these three items could go together. If so I could not even need a world mechanics forum if we wish to keep them with the rest of the discussion forum. links to old forums thread My world info threads "All these", that I will try to bring over. (Which feeds #3). The Google sheets link for the Wikia Page, and link for Wikia Page. So many options, so much POWER!
Made some more changes last night. I gotta get some writing in this evening, but let me know if we need any other changes, and I'll see what I can do!
Okay, we've had them a bit. What do you think? I don't mind changing them again. We want to make it easy while still having a bit of help for keeping everything tidy and easy to find. Lemme know. Thanks, guys.
