Hey, everyone. I'm a professional game developer who's been writing most of his life, but to date my published work is limited to games. I'm working on a cyberpunk noir visual novel, hopefully to be released in early 2019, but I'm here because I'd like to branch out into LitRPG as a kind of 'making writing fun as well as work' exercise. I'm excited to find out what fans love about the genre and deepen my understanding of its conventions. I found the Apocalypse Gates series through a Reddit post that suggested it for fans of E. William Brown (whose work I like a great deal, although it's not LitRPG, even though it has similar themes), and I'm working my way through Daniel Schinhofen's other work at the moment.
